Officials have final say. I don't think there's a "length of game" rule to make it an official game.If its suspended for good now we win 31-0 correct? I mean in baseball you have to get in 5 inns. What is the rule in football?
Yep. Take a crack or two like he has tonight against Georgia or Texas and he might never walk again. It's one thing to stick your neck out there for your team in crunch time. It's another to throw your season or career away for an extra yard when every defender wants nothing more than to get their shining moment rocking the QB.He needs to stop taking the big hits.
This strategy will get him murdered in the SEC.He needs to stop taking the big hits.
I guess if you really had to bitch about something, no matter how stupid it isOf course the game will probably end when we can actually get the backups a ton of reps. Stoops plays games closer than he should and we get stuck with the starters playing most of the game.
Bit of both. O-line coach was also awful.Either this game shows how bad Leary truly was or how bad our oc was last year
ADs, Coaches etc all get a say….its ultimately the officials call. Are there any NCAA or SEC rules that cover this situation?
And here in WKY, we've barely got a misting. We need rain badly. There's tons of moisture in the air and plenty of heat energy to feed these storms. It's almost unbelievable, but it's what happens when you have days of extreme August humid heat mixed with a shot of arctic air. I can't remember the last time that central Kentucky got hit by pop-up thunderstorms again and again like it has tonight. Just insane.
We're up by 5 TD's. We should be gifted the win. However, it's the officials final call.ADs, Coaches etc all get a say….its ultimately the officials call.
The rules are vague such as “early in the game it could result in a cancellation with the result thrown out. Later in the game with the game trending in a direction then it can be called for a particular team.” So they likely wouldn’t call a close in-conference game…instead they’d postpone and finish the next day or try to wait it out.
But I think that last TD prob pushed us far enough ahead that they’ll give us the W imo. Especially since each team got a possession in the 2nd half and we stopped them then scored quick
Hopefully there isn't a 'nado.Un-f-n believable. The storm is BUILDING. There's no sun actively fueling this crap. It's literally warmth from the earth's surface feeding this thing.

THat and the moisture in the air. I know it's been "cooler" today, but the humidity has been the worst it's been all week. Even when it was so hot on Tuesday-Thursday it was still cool in the shade. Today has been AWFUL. The air has been thick.Un-f-n believable. The storm is BUILDING. There's no sun actively fueling this crap. It's literally warmth from the earth's surface feeding this thing.
Having lived in the Murray area for years, you'll get nothing and like it. Want snow? You get ice. Want rain? Get a sprinkler. Farmers want to get corn in the ground? Best of luck – record flooding in April, May, June... Oh yeah, and beaver ponds. And here in WKY, we've barely got a misting. We need rain badly.
Global warming?Un-f-n believable. The storm is BUILDING. There's no sun actively fueling this crap. It's literally warmth from the earth's surface feeding this thing.
That's not the point. It's night time. Most of the time you experience a pop up shower, it's because the sun is out. This is a bit anomalous. It’s like it’s a storm
I knew climate change was eventually gonna hit us where it hurts.Un-f-n believable. The storm is BUILDING. There's no sun actively fueling this crap. It's literally warmth from the earth's surface feeding this thing.
Weather hasn't been right here since Mayfield in 2021.Having lived in the Murray area for years, you'll get nothing and like it. Want snow? You get ice. Want rain? Get a sprinkler. Farmers want to get corn in the ground? Best of luck – record flooding in April, May, June... Oh yeah, and beaver ponds.
WKY is a mess, Man. I feel for y'all. 😂
At this point, who knows? 😂Hopefully there isn't a 'nado.
Dumbest thing I've about ever read.My take is our receivers looks like idiots with their mouth guards flapping around. I feel like it’s a tell as well. This guys isn’t running a slant he isn’t worried about getting popped in the middle of the field
Sucks for sure, wait months for this and then we get screwed by weather. This is like waiting to grill out all day and then someone takes a giant shit on your hamburger bun. I’ll take 31-0 but I don’t have many of these opening games left.
It's the CAPE and moisture. This is sadly becoming a new normal in this area. That's not the point. It's night time. Most of the time you experience a pop up shower, it's because the sun is out. This is a bit anomalous.
What is CAPE?It's the CAPE and moisture. This is sadly becoming a new normal in this area.
I live just a few miles from the stadium, definitely lightening happening. I hate it, but it's true.I knew climate change was eventually gonna hit us where it hurts.
Convective Available Potential Energy. What is CAPE?
Or, hear me out, what happens when you have a really big heat wave transitioning to a much cooler weather pattern. Crazy, I know.Global warming?
