He’s made some terrible calls but Levis pointing to his target before the snap sure doesn’t help

Hopefully he redeems himself but the opening play last week gave up a td. Should have given ball to C Rod las series
Scangarello doesn’t know what to do with an all star back. Too much trickery when you have a guy who is a stud RB. Vs ole miss on the last series. Last week the first series. The guy idk I think he will be good but man his on the job training is a killer
He would be the 3rd OC fired under Stoops, and we would be looking for our 6th OC in 10 years. At some point we have to start wondering why so many OC have struggled under Stoops. It's not like Neal Brown was great by any means either. The only 1 we had that was good was Coen, and he got the hell out of here as fast as possible.
Let’s chill. Scangarello will be fine. It was just bad timing to have to find a new oc with the roster we have and the chemistry with coen and Levis. Scangarello is learning on the fly and has done some head scratching things but I think he gets it fixed
My point wasn't to fire Scangarello. We need a new HC. Unless Music City Bowls, Belk bowls and maybe the occasional Citrus Bowl are good enough for everyone. Laugh all you like, but it's only because you know you can't counter with anything to suggest otherwise.

Whoever made that call to go for it on 4th down should forfeit their pay for the game. That was beyond stupid.
And I would say thinking that is the exact philosophy that will keep us wanting for years to come.
Wish we could have kept Coen but there has to be some OC that is good out there because this dude ain’t it at least from what we have seen so far.
i don't think so, yeah he had those 3 screen okays that were puke but besides that im not sure.
I know we were on CMS for a decade to loosen up and let the O go, but that pick 6 is a situation in which the HMFIC needs to say “hey we got the best RB in the league…the opposing coach literally wrote the book on pass in place of run, so what ever play you think you’re about to trick him with he invented and the D sees it all the time in practice…let’s not get cute”
We are last in SEC in offense with an all time great QB and RB…..how is that not the OCs fault?

Okay! I can see the emotional aspect is going to be very hard for you to overcome. Obviously meaningless bowl games and constant letdowns against good opponents are enough for you. I hope you enjoy the upcoming ass beatings were are about to take from UGA and UT. And the inevitable 3rd music city bowl we will make under Stoops. Next year should be loads of fun with no Levis or Rodriguez. And we're either going to have to try to replace them on the recruiting while having an obviously inept OC, or we replace the OC for the 6th time in 10 years and run the risk of offensive players being hesitant of coming here and the ones we do have of transfering out. If your "astute" football mind doesn't see the issues, perhaps get it checked.

Guess what? You have no oline who can give ppl time to run a route or qb enough time to check recievers. So how do you propose he make the play calls that will work? Look forward to the analysis.
