Offensive Coordinator should be fired tonight

I thought the way CROD was running the play action could have been employed more to set up some downfield throws. Also wondering why they didn't run Brown on a jet sweep any? Maybe there's a reason there.

Anyways the offense cranked out almost 500 yards so I'm not complaining.
Exactly, you certainly don't fire your OC when you're ranked in the top 20, and you just put 500 yards of offense on display against a very good SEC team.

I thought the CROD runs out of the offset, upback were a nice wrinkle. They were definitely new.
To my view, we have more sets now than we've ever had, employing more personnel, especially multiple tights. My guess is that variety may require more out of the Oline, but that is an uneducated guess.

Somewhere along the line, I look for us to go Levis under center, give to CROD with a flea-flicker back to Levis for a shot at a deep ball.

GO CATS !!!

My point wasn't to fire Scangarello. We need a new HC first. Unless Music City Bowls, Belk bowls and maybe the occasional Orange Bowl are good enough for everyone.
Lol. Name the coach who would make us the next Bama, UGA or Clemson. Name the coach who would have done better and STAYED like Stoops has to build continuity. Who would be better and if currently coaching, who would leave their current job to come here to do that?

I don't know what's worse the offensive play calling for Kentucky football or watching the Packers offense play this year.
Its close..

He’s a troll and one of many this week alone.

I think the board may be totally unmoderated

You have to make calls based on what you have. Probably difficult to understand.

You have a top qb and some explosive recievers. Yippie.

Guess what? You have no oline who can give ppl time to run a route or qb enough time to check recievers. So how do you propose he make the play calls that will work? Look forward to the analysis.

Luckily we have a RB who doesn't need them to make holes bc he'll just run everybody over.
Levis was 17 of 23. Four of them went for 30 yards or more, one of which went for 50. 74% completion rate and 23.5% bomb rate. That's a pretty good passing attack.

He would be the 3rd OC fired under Stoops, and we would be looking for our 6th OC in 10 years. At some point we have to start wondering why so many OC have struggled under Stoops. It's not like Neal Brown was great by any means either. The only 1 we had that was good was Coen, and he got the hell out of here as fast as possible.

Yeah, not like Coen got a great job or anything. Lmao

Crazy that people are calling for coaches to be fired when our cats are a false start, fumble and Levis injury away from being 7-0.

The offense was good last night with 239 pass and 239 rush yards. Loved mixing a little bit of tempo in here and there.

Need to convert TD’s in the red zone against TN and shrink the field in the red zone on defense and hopefully hold them to some FG’s. Our depth should help greatly especially coming off the bye week.

Supposed to win? Out of 10 selectors on College Gameday & SEC Nation only one person picked UK - that was Peyton Manning
We were not supposed to win this game
Scag is a great coordinator dealing with a horrendous Oline

Our OC is OK. Not great, but maybe good. We'll see. He called a couple bad series. The 3 downs of successive screens leading to a pick 6 was excruciating. Other times, he set the defense up well for big plays.

Offense opened up in the second half and it was really obvious that the play book opened up a bit. First half was God awful.

Scrang is on the fence for me. He will call a really good series and then make the worst calls ever. I mean the SEC network guys were even like “3 screens out of 4 plays?…..ok”.

I don’t know if he’s still adjusting or what. But when he plays to CRods and Levis strengths we do well. I know the OLine has factors into that but you gotta take shots here and there. I mean look at that Levis pass that went for 40+. WEVE been begging for that for weeks. Even when we were playing cupcakes. With CRod back in form the ground game is there. Take the shots!

Tl;dr. Let the offense roll Scrang.
