Just watched a bunch of footage from Townsend. By far Oakland's best player.
The best comparison I can make, in the WAY he plays, NOT in how talented he is, would be a freshman PJ Washington.
Plays low, solid center of gravity, will throw his shoulder into people and he has excellent touch around the rim.
Can catch it on the elbows or in the short corner and rip it through really quick to the rim, has a quick first step.
Of course he's nowhere near as talented as PJ, but he plays so much like him.
BUT, he's only 6'6.
How would you guard him?
Swallow him up with Ugo? Or put a more agile guy like Thiero on him? This is not a matchup for Edwards.
