Hoak hasn’t shown anything at anytime that makes me believe he can be the guy. He’s had chances and needs to keep working if he wants it. His dad needs to shut up as well.
Hoak’s only success has been against the MAC. He was recruited by the MAC. He is a MAC quality QB.
Looking at Hoak's dad's Twitter, I'm sure he'll just resort to alternative facts. He'll tell us it was actually Gunnar who was responsible for that win, we just don't know it.

The mechanics, reads, accuracy on crossing patterns, etc. should come with practice each day. But the coaches need to pump up their QBs. BOTH were not showing the confidence, bravado and can-do attitude and pumping up the rest of the team - until that last drive that was masterful by Wilson.
