Noticed that Cal was in Brooklyn today...

Cal is up there seeing a back specialist. He knows without Bamba he has absolutely no chance to win a championship. Zero, zilch, and nada.

Cal is just setting it up for his leave of absence just before the blue white scrimmage. That's when it will become obvious to all the idiots, like me, that this season is a waste of time and an absolute indictment that Cal has lost his touch because he didn't sign all of the top 20 HS seniors since he needs at least 10 of them to even be a bubble team. Looks like KP will begin his head coaching career with about 30 straight L's. No way Cal touches this team with a 10 foot pole after this morning.

BBH, I'm assuming you're clowning. :joy:

Otherwise, there IS some truth to what you're saying, the sunshine pumpers will never get it. To settle this for all, Cal is going to have to have a bunch of star players return so that we're not "young", and let's see what he can do with a team that has talent and experience.

Or we could watch tape from 2015, 2008, and 1996.

Why do you hate Cal so much? Has he beaten your team 8 out of 10?

Notice how the board has turned to anger when someone brings up Cal not winning enough titles, or Cal caring more about getting players to the pros than he does winning championships. This accusation sure is striking some nerves.
What's enough titles in your opinion?

We win, on average, about a championship a decade. I wonder what Cal has done? I'll go look it up.....

I agree with the sentiment it averages out to one a decade, but have we ever had this much assemblance of talent? Or has anyone for that matter had that much talent in a span of time?

I'm still more than content with Cal's tenure. I've never been more in love with college basketball but we have had some STACKED teams. And I know we've been off by a couple plays of winning 1 maybe 2 more in his time here.

It's hard to say really because we've never seen another team accumulate this much talent. We don't have anything to measure this time period against to know if we are overachieving or underachieving.

So often we as fans discuss how we only have 8 titles in the history of our program therefore we are doing fine right now. But that basis is off. Our program hasn't gotten the top recruiting class every year for its existence, like we essentially have during the Cal era. Therefore it's not an accurate measuring stick because it's simply not the same.

We would have to find another program that reeled in the top 1/2 ranked recruiting class every year for an 8-9 year span and see how many titles they won to know where we stand. Well, there isn't one out there. We simply don't know.

Then you'd also have to measure against youth/lack of upperclassmen.
Wins are excellent.
Final fours are excellent.
We are maybe a title short.... but this is a ****** great era of Kentucky bb.

Problem is you can't rationally do that here. You state the obvious and OMG YOU WANNA FIRE CAL??

And tbh, I'm with Cal. The NBA effect is worth it. Maybe not if we didn't have a championship, and weren't knocking on the door every single year, but the fact our players are kicking ass all over the NBA is so awesome and you can't really measure that. I mean we get to see these guys play their early years in a crap ass amateur league, but then we also get to see guys like Wall, AD, Karl, Demarcus, etc become the best basketball players in the entire world. That is so awesome. You stack talent like that you're gonna win some championships by accident. Cal ain't leaving here with just 1, imo. It will come.

But it ticks me off knowing Duke and UNC have more championshios with what I would consider significantly less talent. Just shows you how important veterans are. Took Darius Miller and DeAndre Liggins to get us one. There is something about assembling the right mix of vets and young superstars.

UNC doesn't have more titles since Cal got here.

I sure bet the a-holes on here bashing cal hold themselves and their families and their co-workers to the same standard you hold cal.
You don't have to be a sunshine pumper to think there are just some flat out idiots on here.
Damn, cal will have his youngest team ever next year, and we will be in the hunt for #9 by march. I'm sure there some idiots on here who don't want that to happen because Then they won't be able to bitch about cal needing the perfect mix of experience and talent to get it done.

We also haven't had to rely solely on freshman any other time in our history. Only in today's game has freshman been given the burden to carry teams to championships

It's so funny if someone says something about Cal. this board go's crazy, it wouldn't have matter if we had got Bam anyway we wasn't winning #9 because as i said before Cal is not Coach, he has to have by far the best team in the nation in order to win, he can not Coach a lick. Go Cats Cal Sucks
Awwww. Did your mommy not give you enough...

What championship did DeAndre Liggins win?

You would think that since we never win a championship you guys would at least remember the 6 players on the one we did win..
