Why? So we can miss even more?
I keep forgetting, were you pulling for Auburn, or UK?
Why? So we can miss even more?
Yeah but we may have gotten a put back on a reboundDoesn't matter couldn't hit the FTs anyway.
Herro smacked Brown across the left arm. That was clear from the replay. Probably could have argued it was before the shooting motion, but it was definitely a foul.
One day people like you will learn it's not about the number of fouls, it's about the timing and no-calls.Auburn had more fouls called on them than kentucky.
Of course more could have been called. On both teams though, not just Auburn.
Yeah on that final possession of regulation we got beat to death under the basket and no whistle.
And Harper got every call because he’s small. He drove on Herro for a layup once and full left arm hooked him. Could have squeezed his ass he had reached around so far.
That said, we didn’t play our best basketball and didn’t deserve the win. But I don’t feel Auburn deserved it either, just got a favorable whistle.
That is one of the most telling stats of this game. That swarming, hacking, slapping, undercutting defense didn't foul? I call BS
We should have shot 10-15 more FTs this game. Even at our awful rate of 60%, thats 6-9 points that we lost.
They let us play physical too, but against a spread the floor and shoot or drive team, they benefit WAY more from the no calls.
13 FTs first half, 4 second half.
I dont understand why when the officials screw UK, and UK loses, then UK didn't deserve the win. Just don't get it. Properly called, UK wins going away.
On the last possession of regulation, u can clearly see the Auburn guy pulling Keldons arm away from the ball, an obvious foul, but, as usual, they choke on the whistle when it suits them.
Other horrible calls, Auburn guard drives for layup, is contested, but no contact, throws his leg backwards in hope of hitting the defender, and draws a bs foul and one call.
That hook on herro was an offensive foul, again complete bs.
UK should have won and deserved a well called game, but instead got the normal shaft from the NCAA officials.
Because you're full of shit, you should enjoy your first and probably last ever Final Four.
It's a once in a life time event for you all.
Kinda like being Bama's bitch in football.
I was telling my family, as we were watching... well, they've called 3 or 4 fouls on all their big men, but I wonder if they will actually call the 5th on any of them, and they didn't. I was also saying, with about 7 or 8 minutes to go, "They're done calling fouls on Auburn." And they were. They didn't call another foul on Auburn, despite the fact that we were taking the ball inside on nearly every trip. And that last possession of regulation, we were hacked about 3 or 4 times. They just weren't going to call another foul. It's that simple. And any Auburn fan who thinks differently needs to watch the tape again and take off the blinders.
I'm convinced these posters are some sort of bot. Anyone else curious as to how we've seen a huge uprising of old accounts "revived", but with only a few posts?? Same thing happened with UT fans after their SEC win. I've never seen anything like it until recently.Classy. I would say you guys played better football last year, but I wouldn't say it to a 35 year old acting like a 12 year old. Also, your last two sentences don't go together if you were trying to get a dig in. So your were saying we are only 'bama's bitch' 'once in a lifetime'? Genius AND classy... Your tears are very sweet.

Mods, @IL Wildcat, have you noticed this strange trend? Same group of people with hundreds of old accounts posing as AU/UT fans, or are they legit? Almost seems like someone hacked Rivals and were able to create several accounts all appearing to have been created years ago.
You mean the AU football board? I didn't know AU had a Rivals board dedicated to basketball.I can assure you I am no 'bot' ..lmao. i don't live on a UK board, so it only shows the posts from this board... it seems low to you, but I am well known on an AU board.

Would we have made the free throws? Besides, as the coach you dictate where the ball goes.
This right here. You think refs don’t know who is “automatic” from the stripe. Tyler never got a chance at the line, but as soon as PJ touched the ball...*whistle*!Washington and Travis took 14/21 (66.6%) of UK’s FTAs and made 7/14 (50%).
The rest of the team shot 5/7 (71.4%).
Harper and Brown took 16/24 (66.6%) of AU’s FTAs and made 15/16 (93.8%).
The rest of the team shot 2/6 (33.3%).
It matters who shoots the free throws. Check out the box score from the K State game and you will see something similar.
Herro is best free throw shooter in country and never gets to the line once, even though UK was in bonus the last ~10 minutes.
Huge factor in this close game. That is one of the most telling stats of this game. That swarming, hacking, slapping, undercutting defense didn't foul? I call BS

Which ones? U mean where ur undersized inside players were holding? I know it doesnt look like a foul cause it didn’t involve the ball and with virtually zero sustained success from your basketball program your must not understand the rules like the bodying up our guards when u play defense it doesn’t matter if they didn’t grab them. You can’t ride the ball handler all the way up the court! Pearls teams our known for physical defense and fouling. If the game is called by the actual rules of basketball half your team fouls out by the end of the first half. I mean your coach teaches flopping! You know the art of pretending your foul to gain an advantage! The biggest form of bitch basketball in history! But It won’t matter we may not be playing this weekend but five years from now we will still have an elite 8 appearance y’all will have all of your accomplishments vacated or are you one of those who believe Pearl didn’t know what his assistant was doing? I mean the NCAA broke it off in pearl for a bbq what do u think they are gonna do with his assistants on wiretap buying players! And your team got every single call in the first half...phantom fouls all over the place with the bigs...
I took a look at the play-by-play of the Auburn-UNC game.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=401123392
With 8:21 to go in the second half until the end in a game that was not close, Auburn fouled 6 times. The lead ranged from 10-17 in those minutes.
I’ll post more trends from other matchups later, but clearly having ZERO fouls in the final 9:18 of a very tight game is not the norm.
Auburn vs Kansas
In the final 10:43 Auburn was called for 6 fouls.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=401123434
The lead was never close, ranging from 13-25.
ZERO fouls in the last 9:18 is sure hard to stomach right now . . . .
Auburn vs. New Mexico State
First Round 78-77
1 Point Win
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=401123402
In the final 8:58 of this very tight game, there were 10 fouls called on Auburn! TEN! And they had NONE against us in that time frame?!?! Yes, ZERO fouls in the final 9:18 is getting harder to stomach, for sure. . . .
This is exactly the problem I have with the whole officiating issue. If the game is called down the middle, no coach/ team bias’, no sports betting influences, no personal agendas, UK still plays their C- game, and wins in regulation. Forget OT!!Officiating didn't cost us the game. But it was still atrocious. Anyone believe a team plays an entire quarter of a game without fouling?
There were some really bad missed calls towards the end. Reid was hammered. Then the last two shots were fouls
No, PJ got the ball first and knocked it loose. Are people effin blind?Did you watch the game or just giving information? The officials missed as many fouls on us as they did them.
Fans seem to always overlook the misses when we foul. Washington blocked a dunk by missing the ball completely and getting all wrist. Johnson made a layup while hooking the defender with a chicken wing. Travis got 2 rebounds after having both hands in the back of the other player. 2 hands on defenders in the post.
It goes both ways.
