NFL Draft

I wanted this guy on Cincinnati so bad. I was hoping he'd still somehow be there:

Depending on how the Buccaneers plan on deploying Kancey, he may be a grand slam of a pick at this point. He's a bit of a strange fit in their odd man fronts, but if he does flex out to defensive end and play more on the edge, he does actually have the traits to do it. Defensive line is the one position where it's almost always OK to take chances on the athletes.

The only other spot I can see is San Diego taking Levis as insurance for Herbert being hurt and the possibility of not wanting to pay him since they are notoriously cheapskates.

I love the Bengals defensive front 6 and some of the backups like Ossai. Secondary maybe, RB or TE I'd say.

Weak class for top wideouts? I mean teams are stopping from overvaluing WR and RB these days. Not paying as much, unless they turn out to be Megatron. Hell the Cowboys even traded Cooper after he killed it there.
I think it's more this new philosophy opposed to a weaker class. RBs don't last long on average and a great QB turns serviceable WRs into all pros. Much more important to draft for the trenches on both sides of the ball and defense in general.

I'd like them to take the best available and that's what they said they'd do. I know Kancey was supposed to be who they were hoping would be there. Lot of mocks having them taking a TE like Kincaid. With our firepower I don't think we need an all world TE just somebody strong and physical that can catch and we can get one of those later. I don't want a RB either.

Either OL or DB for Cincinnati is what I am looking for now. I am afraid they are going to take Kincaid when I think they can get the same value later in the draft at TE.

Ravens continue to luck out with everything they want falling down into their laps. Killed me when they got Tyler Linderbaum last year. Luckiest draft team I've ever seen.

They already signed Irv Smith Jr. so who knows really. Good problem to have.

Since they play nickel as their base defense, I also changed my post to Front 6.

That's why I would never attend the draft. Sitting there as you tumble down the board has to be unbearable. I'd rather have all my teeth drilled while my fingernails were ripped out one at a time than endure that.
