NFL Draft Thread

Ok. Went with Farley. I personally would’ve went with Newsome if had to go CB. Newsome has the much higher floor even though he doesn’t have as high of ceiling.

Sleeper second or third round pick this year..... Tutu Atwell, dude is hard to cover

Even the NFL realizes Notre Dame is overrated!

Edit: JOK has been the best available for like 10 picks now

Hoping Kelvin Joseph is taken in the next few picks but if he isn't, he'll be an early pick tomorrow.

I think the Bengals have their eye on the Bama center or Drake, the didn't pick up the option on their center.

Drake won't go high because of his size but some team is going to feel like they just got one over on somebody. He's just super smart and knows how to get everyone in the right call.

Calvin Ridley and ???

Edit: Ruggs and Jeudy, forgot about them. Dumb butt me, I had both on my fantasy team at one point last year.

Hope so. BPA preferably to hopefully keep rebuilding both OL and DL. But their C, Hopkins, is signed 2 more years I believe. Price only played when someone got hurt. Dickerson would be good here in round 2 even if they have to move him to G or someone else on the line in 2021. He's that nasty.

Cleveland building a Defense, gonna be hard to score on
And you can never have enough talented cover guys. Newsome was my last first round caliber corner, although obviously the Packers disagreed.

I've always thought he was going 2nd/3rd round.

You think Rodgers is pissed before, the Packers still not giving him weapons is going to really piss him off.
It doesn't sound like it mattered who the Packers took. They could have traded their whole draft for Pitts, Chase or one of the Bama receivers and it may not have been enough to satisfy Rodgers. I think Rodgers seems sort of PO'd that they took Jordan Love (his possible successor) a year ago, but tried putting on a good face for a year.

Creed Humphrey or Quinn Meinerz are possibilities as well if the Bengals are thinking about a center. Those guys are thought to be two of the top three centers in the draft along with the Bama center (Landon Dickerson).

I only got about 2/3 hours of sleep last night but I'm ready for Day 2 to start. Kelvin Joseph should go early tonight.

I thought for the most part, teams did a solid job of picking last night. It'll be interesting to see if that keeps up tonight in Rounds 2 and 3. Picks 66 and 86 belonged to the Jets at the start of last night, but dealt them to move up from 23 to 14 to grab Alijah Vera-Tucker. Pick 74 was San Francisco's spot, but dealt it to Washington a year ago to acquire offensive tackle Trent Williams. Pick 79 was Arizona's, but Las Vegas got it in exchange for center Rodney Hudson. Pick 84 has changed multiple hands, but Dallas got it last night from Philadelphia in exchange for letting the Eagles move up two spots for DeVonta Smith. Minnesota got Pick 90 from Baltimore for Yannick Ngakoue. Cleveland got Pick 91 from New Orleans last season for allowing the Saints to move up for tight end Adam Trautman in last year's draft. Baltimore got Pick 94 from Kansas City as a part of the Orlando Brown Jr. trade. Detroit got the 101st pick from the Rams as part of the Matthew Stafford/Jared Goff trade.

And as a note, all the selections after the Buccaneers pick at 95 are compensatory picks for free agent signings as well as minority GM/head coaches.
