N.O.B.

Thus endeth the college basketball career of our favorite raven-haired hoopster. She may have been a real life 6, and a campus 5, but she was a women’s basketball 10.

We’ll miss you, MaciMo ...

Don't get me wrong. Our gal has a pretty face. She's in very good shape. However, in most people's scales of what superficially makes a woman attractive, she is lacking in two of the top three areas. Crass, I'm sure; but accurate. Who am I to judge, though?

The 5 Stages Of Eating A King-Sized Mounds
  1. Elation Boner: The unbridled joy at merely thinking about eating four pieces of Mounds causes it to move...a lot
  2. Irrational Ecstasy: As the orgasmic delight of the first bite floods your brain with endorphins and you gaze upon the remaining pieces, you foolishly believe the pleasure will never end
  3. Frenzied Gorging: The pace intensifies as you rapturously chomp away at the delectable dark-chocolate and coconut masterpieces with reckless abandon
  4. Impending Self-Loathing: As the final bite draws nearer, you begin to realize you are nothing more than a pathetic slave to the cruel masters that are your taste buds
  5. Pancreatic Panic: The sudden realization that you've consumed 56 grams of carbohydrates and 24 grams of fat in approximately 47 seconds causes you to scour your medicine cabinet vainly hoping a syringe of Novalog will magically appear

Got a bad feeling about this next game.

1) I don't think we match up well with Houston.

2) Even if PJ plays he will be rusty. It's not like Zion who can come back and not miss a beat because of his powerful physical dominance. PJ's game is more finesse-reliant and thusly more suspect to rustiness from an injury absence.

3) Houston negates our one defining characteristic that usually gives us an edge against most teams...athleticism. Player for player across the board they are equal to or better athletically.

4) They are a poor 3-point shooting team and still jack it...so that could help us out. But Cal refuses to play zone. So the one guy that can hit it consistently from deep will get open a lot and probably have a career-best type of game from the arc.

5) They won't be intimidated at all. In fact they will enter the game with all the confidence in the world. Beating LSU earlier in the season...who as we all know beat us...ensures that their confidence will be high right out of the gate.

5a) That's a great position to be in...the underdog who knows you have the talent to beat the other team.

6) Not saying we can't win. Just saying that I don't like the matchup.

<> If we do beat Houston...I really don't like the matchup with either team in the Elite 8. Auburn looks like one of those teams that gets on a roll late in the season on the way to a FF or even a ship...like NC State in '83 or Arizona in '97. They have been on fire. But they have to miss a few 3's sometime don't they??? If so and they lose...then we play UNC who looks better than they have all year. And that honkie Grizly Adams looking bastard will have another career game against us as a 7th year senior (seems like that mofo has been there that long).

<> I also think that Florida St. beats Gonzaga tonight. I think that's a really bad matchup for the Zags.

<> I also also think that Oregon very well might beat Virginia. Probably not. But this game just has that March Madness feel to it. The Ducks are the only true Cinderella left...and it's the late game...and the Cavs have a history of choking in the dance...and...and...well i just want to see it happen.

Well I had chocolate cake for breakfast and lunch yesterday, so I'm super killing it.

Ready for this Houston game to be over with. Ugh.

There's no team in the world I would rather play than a Bruce Pearl coached team. No way we get that lucky (like that time we played K-State in the S16 and went on to play Loyola...oh FTBGE)
