I would usually view this as a good thing, but with Murray I don't know. The guy only has a Twitter because some dumbass was going around pretending to be him. He shows up on campuses for visits virtually unannounced. I still think we get him, but I have my concerns.
Yeah, I get that. He's not tweeting about it, his camp isn't calling reporters, etc. It's become pretty standard for a recruit to tweet that he's about to take a visit for the attention or whatever. Just saying Murray seems like someone who doesn't like attention.
In fairness, that's normal for most fan bases.
Aside from those guys waving Terrible Towels up in Pennsylvania, there's no fan base in sports like BBN.
Steeler Nation takes the cake, though. Those fans are true fanatics.
I suspect the reason he's going to visit Oregon is that he has come to like someone there. Life isn't only basketball.

Oregon coast is beautiful. I was born in London Ky. I live near Eureka Ca now which is like saying you live in Florida but are actually in Jacksonville.

Serious minutes? Probably not, but he's a good player and will be in line to start his sophomore year likely. I can see him getting 10-15 minutes a game.

As for UK, who is Vick better than? Maybe Hawkins, but he doesn't have Hawkins experience. Mulder? Nope. He's not better than Mulder, Matthews, Briscoe, Ulis. So where's Vick getting the minutes at UK?
Silents, I agree. Plus, Cliff Alexander was top 10 and couldn't get good minutes. No way Self is giving Vick a reclassified 4 star, major minutes. 15 minutes? That's is laughable. There were games that Cliff wasn't even getting 15 minutes a game, but Vick will? laughable.

I would think that we, as UK fans, would WANT these recruits to make all their visits and gather all info they need. We want these players sure they want to be here, not somewhere else. We want them to know what they are walking into, right?

I'll self-ban myself for a year if Vick plays 15 mins a game. Not even close.
The beauty of this recruiting season is that we missed out on several....i for one want to see Marcus Lee play significant minutes...many on this board seem to forget with out him we dont get past Michigan last year...kid can play..i wanna see Willis be given Willies latitude...not yanked if a team goes on 6-0 run with him in the game even tho it had nothing to do with Derek....let these kids play and get confidence...moght just shock ya
