These 3 and we're set. Not the marquee names of say a Malik Newman or a Jaylen Brown but 3 excellent high energy players nonetheless.
I would really love to have Ulis, Murray and Mulder on the floor together.
Those 3 and have Skal and whoever else may it be Lee or Poy and we have a very nice combo of scoring rebounding and defense.
You always need at least 3 guys who can be threats and the D has to play them to keep from sagging like Wis did to Kat down low. Mulder is perfectly capable of playing the 3 you don't average as many boards as he did this past season without having a knack for the ball.
In the 80's I remember James Blackman playing the 4 for good stretches of game time and he was 6'2 or so. I'm sure a 6'4-6'5 guy can be a 3. If we need someone to play D I'm sure Poy or Lee could cause some havoc on someone depending on the matchup.
He has said it's a possibility he could reclassifyWhere did the talk of Murray come from? I've seen nothing to indicate he's even likely to reclassify, much less sign with Kentucky, with Ulis, Briscoe and Hawkins already on the roster. Murray has played point guard every time I've seen him play.
LOL decent? Ulis could easily be the best pg in the country and Briscoe is awesome . Mulder at worst is a Qualls type ( the Arky player) and Hawkins is a dammmn good back up. That back court is top 5.IF we get Diallo then I will be beyond thrilled. In my view he is the key, we have a decent back court.
Murray is visiting this weekend?I hadn't heard that but it would seem to be good news.sounding more and more likely we finish with Diallo and then Mulder and Murray after they visit this weekend . Cue kermit jerking it ... lol
I would be fine with that.

If Slice doesn't leave Diallo is already ours. Mullins really knows how to recruit. These 3 and we're set. Not the marquee names of say a Malik Newman or a Jaylen Brown but 3 excellent high energy players nonetheless.
I watched some video. He can get to the rim and he can hey up. I would love to have him and Maker.Murray >>> Newman
Unless he was just playing completely over his head in the Nike Summit game, then Murray might be the best player in the class.
I am cautious with adding Frosh with these skill sets . Cost us every year, too much of one thing . No SF , in the group I gu

That's the reason I like Ingram of all the open elite players. He's special. Doesn't sound like he will leave NC but hoping he does.I am cautious with adding Frosh with these skill sets . Cost us every year, too much of one thing . No SF , in the group I guess we have to take what we can get.

Murray is 6'5, 204 lbs. He has a 6'7 wingspan.
Briscoe is 6'4, 218 lbs. He has a 6'8 wingspan.
Both are plenty big enough to play SF in college.
And I would rather have a guard that can handle and shoot at the 3 than a forward at the 3 that can't handle and shoot. Especially with Ulis at the PG spot.

Murray would certainly be a great addition and an exciting one at that. However, with Briscoe, Ulis, Hawkins and Probably Mulder, he would also just be a luxury in my opinion. I feel that Diallo is the make or break recruit for us; we need him really bad next year. If we do not add him, foul trouble is going to scare me to death next year.
Murray is a guy who could potentially lead the team in scoring.
That's a little bit more than just a "luxury".
And beyond that, anything that pushes Cal away from using Alex Poythress as a 3 is a good thing in my eyes.
