I never saw him play. He'd definitely be on there if I had.

2. The all time leading rebounder in the history of UK basketball
3. The only UK player EVER to have 2 games of at least 50 points
4. A 2 time All-American
5. An ABA All-Star
6. An NBA All-Star
7. In the basketball Hall Of Fame
8. Kareem Abdul Jabbar said he hated playing against Dan Issel more than any center that he ever played against.
If you remember him or are too young to. You have got to put Issel on the Mount Rushmore of UK basketball

I never watched him, but my Dad has told me countless times of his greatness, and I've read his college and pro history. That makes Issel a no brainer. Cotton Nash was another.
The ones I've seen are Davis,Mashburn, Kenny Walker, Tony Delk, and John Wall.
