My buddy and I were talking, he says yes, I say no. I don’t care about dog fights or anything. He changed the game and is the all time leading QB rusher by a long shot. I just don’t think he’s done enough to be HOF.

If Fame is the most important thing in being in the Hall Of Fame then maybe. If he was inducted he would be one of the worst QB’s ever inducted (until Eli and his 2 rings get in).

Vick definitely caused the league to change its approach to duel threat quarterbacks. He had almost an Allen Iverson-like impact with the culture shift he created, too. But, while Iverson should absolutely be in the NBA Hall of Fame, I don't think Vick's overall numbers are enough to get him to Canton. He had some iconic moments (the run against Minnesota, the MNF game against Washington) but a sick highlight reel isn't a strong enough argument for the Hall of Fame.

Even if he did (i do not think he does), the dog fighting thing would have killed any shot.

Dual threat qbs have brought some excitement to the game, but none have really had a significant impact when it comes to winning at a high level.

He basically had to carry a terrible Atlanta team by himself and his prime was taken away by jail. I say yes, he's my favorite player in NFL history so I'm also biased.

No.

91st in passing yds

Although, he might have more rushing yds than other QB's, he's still ranked 82nd overall in yds. Also reference that he only has a little over 1,000 yds more than Cunningham and about 1500 yds more than Young or Newton.

He's 150th for TD's rushing.......behind guys like Young and McNair.

98th in passing TD's.

And he really hasn't won much.

Huge fan but gotta say NO. Funny someone mentioned Allen Iverson and the bbhof. As good as Vick was coming out of high school, Iverson was the best high school qb to ever come out of Virginia.

So he missed his prime? Are you saying we should overlook those years or assume he’d been awesome and put him in for those reasons.

Can't justify putting him in the Hall. His stats just don't warrant it, especially as a passer. At no point in his career was he considered the best in the league (and probably not even 3rd or 4th best). Can't fathom any reason to include him. And I look at his QB rushing mark in sort of the same way I look at Devin Hester's return mark: great achievement in a specialized area but not the area he should necessarily be judged by.
