Louisville to the ACC title game

I'll be betting us on the money line against them. They're better than last year without a doubt but they missed Florida State, Clemson and North Carolina on the schedule and Notre Dame gave them 5 turnovers. They are better but nothing I'm really afraid of.

The delusion of UL fans will appear soon. How long before they say “we deserve to be in the BCS playoff”????
First of all it is the CFP Playoff not the BCS. However most Louisville fans know the best we could do is the Orange Bowl unless some really big upsets happen. But for year 1 under a new coach we are happy with an ACC Title game and the Orange Bowl for a team that was picked to finish 8th in the ACC.

I agree with that but will you concede that the chances of ever getting a schedule this favorable ever again is not very good.

Unless our defense makes a miraculous turnaround UofL will put 38+ on us
We can score but can we pass block good enough to keep Leary upright to score enough
Louisville brings the heat on defense they play a very aggressive style on both sides
Cats need to win tonight to have confidence next week

Good, 'cause Boston College ain't walkin' through that door.

UL's defense reminds me of the late 90s broncos. They are fairly small but really fast. They fly around and are good at using leverage to their advantage. If our line does its job we can run on them and keep their offense off the field.

Coaching makes a huge difference, but just going by the "look" test they will still have a hard time with us up front.

We’ve been spoiled over the last four years, feels weird going into this game not thinking that we’re going to trounce them. I think they’re better than some believe and I think we’re not as bad as some believe, wouldn’t be surprised either way.

They have benefited from a weak schedule, but they've done their job. It's been a remarkable turnaround and I don't blame their fans one bit for being ecstatic.

I think our game should be a good one. We have bigger lines on both sides of the ball, so I think Davis could have a big day. We need to cause a couple turnovers and make them play from behind.

The trajectories of both programs are looking vastly different. That's far more concerning to me than whatever the result of next week's game is.

Yeah, they are nowhere near SEC caliber size wise. They are really aggressive on defense, and I'm shocked no one they have played has been able to make them pay for putting that many D players up on the line constantly.

Scoring...we talking bout Scoring? We don't need no Scoring. It's all about defe😂🤣nse

I remember the lsu ole miss game and the Stoops defense only crew were crapping all over it saying it wasn't an entertaining game or real football.
It damn sure is in 2023. These defense wins games and championships are stuck in the 70's...
He said college football has officially become an offensive game. "It used to be that good defense beats good offense. Good defense doesn't beat good offense anymore," Saban told ESPN on Friday.
