Cards have the easiest road to a weakened ACC conference title game in history. And with the Florida States QB out, it literally cant get any easier.

I have thought for many years that UK football would be better off in the ACC than the SEC. More chances to have multiple 10+ win seasons, compete for conference championships, and keep the stadium packed with excited fans.
Nobody predicted the ACC would be this ass.
If they had, UL making the championship wouldn't be such a surprise.
This may not be much but it will open the recruitment of Texas kids to all the SEC schools.
Out of all the SEC schools, UK will be one of the programs least benefitting from recruiting in the state of Texas. UK isn’t stealing Texas area recruits from Texas,Texas a&m,Oklahoma,LSU,Georgia,Bama,Ole Miss or Florida.
Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC does nothing but damage to UK.
Those conference revenue checks are well worth it tho.
When I looked at their schedule, I thought it was possible that they would be in the hunt. I did not think they would beat ND, but certainly thought they would beat Pitt. Duke was better than I expected, but the schedule was built for Brohm’s first year.

If UK’s schedule was a bunch of Vanderbilts and a couple of mid-tier teams, this ^^ comment would make sense.
Maybe SC at home is better than UL at home? And, UL at home is vastly better than UL on the road.
Well they could not beat us a 6-5 team and Florida a 5-6 team gave FSU all they wanted. Just shows ACC Champion is no better than a 6th place SEC team.

Actually, given their schedule, A LOT OF us thought during the summer thought they should finish their conference schedule undefeated. It doesn't surprise me that UL fans would doubt it.

Unlike UL we appreciate and embrace the challenges of the best conference in the country. Texas and OK weren't areas we focused on. When we play and beat those teams it will do the recruiting for us.
Because attendance at ACC conf games is great? Have you seen a Miami game? There's a reason Maryland left that conference and the death of good football in the ACC was one of them

As a college football fan, I don’t want an undefeated FSU. While I don’t think UL had a real shot at the playoff, UK did the college football world a favor by exposing them. UL SHOULD NOT be a New Year’s Day team. FSU was the only real football contender in the ACC, but that was with Travis.
Even with Travis, FSU would not win the SEC or the B1G, or probably not the PAC 12.
I want UL to beat FSU so that we get the best four teams in the country in the playoff.
