First thing people do is run and see if the shooter was ''maga'' or trans.
They probably realized pulling the Calipari "haven't seen him" line out every day wasn't necessary.
Several surrounding schools have cancelled classes and all sports related activities until monday.

I used to ride 4 wheelers at Cromer Ridge where the shooter was set up all the time before it was shut down. If he is still loose in the woods, that area is very thick. He could be in there for weeks before being found if he had the necessities. Remember, it used to be an atv park, trails are everywhere in between the thick forest. I have some theories.
They found his car and weapon with the phone. The battery was out so it couldn’t be pinged. That along with the weapon tells me suicide probably wasn’t his first option. That said, he could very well have a side arm to off himself with.
Anyone with familiarity knows the exit points of the area. Had he planned this, he could’ve stashed a dirtbike or 4 wheeler next to where he was before driving up in his car. From where the shots came, if you know the trails, you can be on highway 80 between London and Somerset near Hawk Creek/Swiss Colony within 30 minutes. You can be to civilization within 15 minutes if hammering down. Once on 80, he has a direct line to Bowling Green and i65 out of the state. I highly doubt that after calls of a mass shooting, law enforcement will have people at all exit points within 30 minutes. They are going to flood the immediate scene before starting the man hunt.
Although it’s technically shut down, people still ride there so you’re going to have many tracks making it impossible to conclude they were his get away vehicle.

I feel for the people in the area and the decision makers who will need to decide soon whether or not to move forward with everyday life. What happened was so random and one's worst fear would be Couch somehow showing up with another gun at a high school football game or something, as far fetched as that might sound considering the massive manhunt for him. You can't allow him to be a boogeyman for that part of the state if he's never caught or his body is never found though.
I like the HS style drama going on about the Governor's visit. Makes it seem like they aren't cooperating the best and it's a good way for the public to lose trust in them.
Last update is they opened up the exit it happened at(exit 49) and they are expanding the search further.
Per this guy (and I'm not vouching for him, just passing it along in a vacuum of information), the rumor is that they think they know where he is and have monitored communication and seen physical evidence that he's planned a suicidal standoff with police so they are just waiting him out.

All these theories are a lot of planning for someone who purchased the weapon the day of the shooting and was shirtless with a bright colored hat. He’s most likely dead or holed up starving & will make a mistake soon. Buzzards will probably give his location soon.
I see this rumor but I have a hard time considering it as a realistic possibility if we are talking about a classic accessory before the fact co-criminal. What would be the motivation for someone to help this guy avoid justice if you knew what he was planning to do beforehand?
Now if we eventually find out that one of his friends unwittingly gave him a ride under strange circumstances that night or something and then delayed in contacting law enforcement, I could see that. It would be dumb but those things happen.
But someone out there actively helping him remain on the lam? I have doubts. You would think that even his mom or girlfriend would probably rat him out at this point, if just to see him not die in a shootout with police.
Unfortunately, it happens every day. And it'll likely be somebody in his inner circle who eventually rats him out. You can bet LE knows who he runs with and are ramping up the pressure. Whomever does turn him in will do so not because it's the honorable thing to do but because he owes them money or drugs or both. Somebody local knows where he is.
