No fouls all game but a big defensive holding on 3rd and 9. Then another penalty. Fixed
Yeah , I was for the Bengals because of my friends and family Bengal fans, but I told my wife ”the refs owed em one”.I mean, they missed a clear offensive penalty on Higgins which allowed him to run 75 yards for a touchdown so ...
I said the same to the group i was with. Tough missed callThey missed a blatant false start on the same play as the holding call. Wintworth jumped crazy early.
The announcers didn’t even mention it. I thought it was pretty obvious on TV.I said the same to the group i was with. Tough missed
If im not mistaken it went from 3rd or would be 4th to 1st with the missed false start too bc of the hold. Really tough breakThe announcers didn’t even mention it. I thought it was pretty obvious on TV.
The refs didn’t call anything until the Rams needed a TD.I mean, they missed a clear offensive penalty on Higgins which allowed him to run 75 yards for a touchdown so ...
Not even close to true. The cowboys generate more money than any nfl team by a mile. And that is in spite of not winning a playoff game since the 90s.It was a no name Superbowl. The 49ers should have been in this we are the biggest draw even bigger than the cow boys
49ers are trash! I hate that teamIt was a no name Superbowl. The 49ers should have been in this we are the biggest draw even bigger than the cow boys
This is why the holding call late was made. It was technically a correct call but not consistent with the rest of the no calls during the game.I mean, they missed a clear offensive penalty on Higgins which allowed him to run 75 yards for a touchdown so ...
Go back and watch. There was contact between Chase’s leg and the defender’s helmet. One camera shot showed it.How about the terrible spot on the deep ball to Chase in the first half? Defender didn’t make contact. Chase makes a great catch. Gets up and runs and is tackled at 5. But they spot back at the 10. That was HUGE. Percentages of scoring TD drastically different.
But again Ramsey held at the goal line in the 1st (a blatant hold on a Bengal WR t -shirt and nothing), Cincy had to settle for a Fg. Thats the difference in the game right there. This is why the holding call late was made. It was technically a correct call but not consistent with the rest of the no calls during the game.
If Rams fail there, the score winds up 20-16 and all the talk is about the winning TD being an obvious missed call.
That’s why the call was made imo.
Bengals beat themselves. Boyd dropping that 3rd down pass, letting cooper Kupp beat you the last drive, and then that terrible 2nd and 1 where they basically threw it away instead of trying to pick up the 1st down, which eventually led to their demise.
Nobody cares what losers like you thinkLong as it keeps Bungles from a chip,, I'm fine with however refs called it..
This Super Bowl just made me cringe thinking of the teams who get put in Duke's draw with Coach K making his last "run". No dog in this fight at all but I come from a skeptical view on Pro sports these days and when a Billionaire spends a couple billion on a new Stadium and it's empty for the opening year due to a Pandemic.....well I'm not shocked they were playing at home, got 3 home games in Postseason and are attempting to build a fanbase that doesn't exist/won't exist or sustain. They are like the Angels in LA--interesting but nobody really gives a damn.
I mean we've had this year a WS played in the same stadium that people pressured MLB to move the All Star game due to political reasons. Nobody protested that, right? We had gone an entire lifetime without host teams in Super Bowls and now it's back to back years they have played at home of one of the teams who won the games. This one more controversial due to tightness of game. Understand your distaste.I'm becoming tired of sports as a whole. All of it. NBA, NFL, College ball.
Some people ask me why I haven't gotten into other sports like baseball or hockey.. and my response is that I just don't want to deal with more nonsense and theatrics. I tell people I don't want get involved with any more crooked sports organizations.
Alot of influence on sports now days. MLB is actually the cleanest off all of them but we don't care til the last month of season. NFL is garbage but we watch, and NBA is good with alot of stars to follow and UK guys so it's my favorite. As a whole sports has taking less meaning to me few years now.I'm becoming tired of sports as a whole. All of it. NBA, NFL, College ball.

LA is all silver and black. This Super Bowl just made me cringe thinking of the teams who get put in Duke's draw with Coach K making his last "run". Exactly! That was the worst call of the night. Then let the only guy left on the roster who can beat you (Kupp) just torch you on that final drive? Kinda funny. Then there is the horrid play calling the final 2 plays of the game. Bengals fans need to look in the mirror before blaming the referees. Good lord...I mean the Bengals were gifted 7 points to start the 2H on that non-OPI call so if anything the calls on the final drive just evened it out.
Exactly. They were gifted 7 damn points in a game they were having trouble scoring.Exactly! That was the worst call of the night. No. There was offensive PI not called on Burrow's first pass of 2nd half. Each team got burned once by bad calls. No fouls all game but a big defensive holding on 3rd and 9. Then another penalty. Fixed
That 3rd down drop was an absolute killer. Told my wife that when it happened. That would’ve damn near sealed it.Bengals beat themselves. Boyd dropping that 3rd down pass, letting cooper Kupp beat you the last drive, and then that terrible 2nd and 1 where they basically threw it away instead of trying to pick up the 1st down, which eventually led to their demise.
