LMAO at superbowl final drive

Exactly! That was the worst call of the night. Then let the only guy left on the roster who can beat you (Kupp) just torch you on that final drive? Kinda funny. Then there is the horrid play calling the final 2 plays of the game. Bengals fans need to look in the mirror before blaming the referees. Good lord...

That was a brutal loss. My energy is zapped....just sucks, great season though.

Boyd's drop was a huge play and on final drive, NO Mixon? WTF?

Bengals beat themselves. Boyd dropping that 3rd down pass, letting cooper Kupp beat you the last drive, and then that terrible 2nd and 1 where they basically threw it away instead of trying to pick up the 1st down, which eventually led to their demise.

A lot of teams "let" Cooper Kupp beat them...dude is a freak.

All of his tds have literally been wide open this season it seems . I have wondered at this point how is this happening . But I think Mcvay has done a great job of moving him around to keep the double from happening .

I wonder how high in the first round will he go in fantasy drafts next year .

Their final drive is all I’m referring to. You make anybody but him beat you there, especially without OBJ. He was open every play, 2 dudes should have been on him that whole drive. I know the dude is good but come on, that’s a Cal level choke job.

Three major missed calls.

1 - Ramsey holding inside the 5, Bengals should have had first ang goal on the 1-3 yard line, instead settled for a field goal. Bengals lose 4 points

2 - OPI on Higgins facemask. Didn't look bad live, but slo-mo changes everything. Bengals gain 7 points

3 - BS call on Wilson. I'll take my chances on 4th and goal from the 8. Bonus on here is Whitworth's false start that they "missed" that would have nullified the bad call and we're back to 3rd and goal from the 8. Bengals lose 7 points

So the big three plays cost the Bengals 4 points. Hmmmm....

And I didn't even get in to the 3-4 pick plays to get Kupp open on the final drive.

Yeah. There was definitely a false start there. It was very noticeable even live. Not sure how they could’ve possibly missed it.

The only bad call is where the ref sees something that isn't there a la the Wilson crushing call in a crushing situation. Refs can miss calls but when they see something that isn't there especially in a game ending critical drive then it is an issue.

Joe, on that last sack. is looking right at an open receiver and he starts to throw then pulls it down and gets sacked. I think it was designed for him to look left and throw back right... but if he just goes through with the throw he's got a first down even on that AWFUL play call.

Think about it, in 4th and 1 for the Super Bowl the Bengals go into Shotgun and basically turn it into 4th and 4 on the snap.

Sports are rigged. 2015 UK. They go 40-0 and Cal is the face of NCAA basketball. The NCAA doesn’t like Cal because he’s a renegade. Stephen A says the NCAA won’t allow it to happen. Bracketology guy goes on ESPN and says the commitee is trying to make Kentucky’s road to the title as hard as possible. That’s why we got Notre dame in the elite 8 followed by wisconsin (2 elite three point shooting teams) While duke got 7 seed michigan state. Vegas insider says vegas won’t allow UK to win- is disconnected from the call and ESPN talking heads ignore him and move on. ESPN shows a “how to beat kentucky” special.

When they talked about how much money Vegas would lose on a UK title, I knew we were beat that year

The big call for me was the roughing in the end zone, when the Rams was called for holding. It would have put the Rams outside of the 10. I guess you can’t hit a receiver anymore.
I didn't see anything worthy of a personal foul flag on that either. I thought the spot on Cincinnati's last drive on the 3rd down run was really bad. There was a NFL logo on the field and the camera showed the tip of the ball to be at the edge of the L which would have been either a first down or just inches short and instead they marked it a full yard short.

I told my wife the same thing when I heard the announcers say the dollar amount they stood to lose if UK went undefeated. I knew they would find a dirty crew of refs. I mean why not pay a ref 100K to decide the outcome of a game instead of losing millions.

Cal has been cheated out of 3 titles while he's been at UK. Just fair non-Duke style officiating and Cal has 3 more. He didn't need a favorable whistle or a cakewalk bracket, just don't stick it to us and it's 3 more.

I'll give you Wisconsin was a really good team in 2015....but not Notre Dame. Sure they were good shooting but un athletic team that we had huge size advantage and why Willy could not guard a soul in either Wisconsin or Notre Dame is on him/UK. And Wisconsin was in Final four...not our bracket. So there is no blatant bad draw unless we want to argue final four brackets should be seeded to get the easiest region at the final four game.

If things are so rigged....but the 2018 team had a broken bracket that we choked all over and 2019 team had freaking Auburn to get to FF (plus their best big man hurting leg)...and we choked again.

The best argument for bad seeds was 2017....Bam/Monk/Fox got put in UCLA and then UNC region...that was baloney was the only blatant poor seed UK has gotten IMO

Just stop, it isn't always about "choking". Sometimes you just get beat. Go pound sand with your choke job nonsense.

Kupp is a hell of a player and Stafford made throws when needed. The Bengals had a chance to close the door and didn't...too much pressure on D and the Rams finally made them pay.

Congrats to Rams and move on. End of story.

Bengals had a mystery offensive coordinator for the first and last drive...

Personally it is Monday morning and I care more about hearing something about TyTy's status than Bengals fans whining. Just be happy you made it to the Super Bowl.

Do you know how many times that happens in an NFL game? Same play happened to Higgins in the game. That was not a hold...that was a feel.

I'm over it btw. No excuses...point is that wasn't a hold, that was a play on.
It was the “right” call. But considering they’d been letting that crap go all game? Yeah. You don’t call it there and not catch flak.

Bengals need an OL.

Y’all had one of those then y’all wouldn’t be complaining about the refs.

Go chiefs!!!!!

This is how close Bengals were to winning Super Bowl....

This pic is of last play. Bottom of screen is Ramsey falling down covering Chase. No help over top.

If Burrow has a half second longer it is a TD.

Kick in the d*ck...

I was gonna say, your next step as a franchise.. protect Burrow.

Would love to see the Jets trade down. Take our 4th overall pick.

Ooof. WIDE OPEN. Burrow would’ve completed it to. Huge play to end an improbable super bowl run. Ouch.

I'm sorry but we didn't choke against Auburn in 2019. They were given 9 plus minutes of fouling immunity from the refs just to get it to OT.

2017 and 2019 we were screwed out of the tournament.

The Bengals OL has been atrocious all year. The Rams were a terrible matchup for them. If they don't spend money on the OL in the offseason, their franchise quarterback will have a short-lived career.

Also, 2nd and 1 and unable to convert in 3 tries to keep the drive going. Ouch.

Yeah, from a play call coaching standpoint I don't understand the logic of having Perine out there on 3rd and 4th down. This isn't week 3...it is the SB. Mixon should have been on the field.

I think they will address OL for sure. Especially right guard spot. There is about $75m in cap space. Bates will get some but they have plenty of money to drop on help.
