LMAO at superbowl final drive

I thought Perine got too many snaps as well. Also Carman had a bad back so Adeniji had to play most of the game vs Donald.
Perine was in there because Mixon got bulldozed on a linebacker blitz and almost got Joe killed. The LB literally pulled and Earl Campbell on Mel Blount and ran Mixon over and had a free run at Joe.

For the Carmen talk, Carman is/was a guy with a specialty/rep of run blocking and was not particularly graded well as a pass block guy. Total awful pick and I said it at the time of the draft because much better options were there. Plus we took Carman a full round ahead of where he was projected so the whole pick was a product of the Bengals having a cheapskate scouting budget which is the lowest in the entire NFL.

Oh, we will. I think we need to use free agency to go sign a starting RG and RT. And use the draft to get some OL depth and build some guys up instead of throwing them in to the frying pan. Get some pass rushers on D.
I like everything about our defense and the way it is heading so I hope we try to hold onto most of it. Our DL especially. I even think our secondary rose to the occasion as you look at what we were up against in both Kansas City and LA and you are talking the most elite offensive talent in the NFL those guys were up against. I'd add a solid cover corner and some depth but I am very proud of that unit.

Cincy fans are identical to UL fans. Look at UL boards after a loss they read just like this one.

Cincy fans are the worst. I didn't care who won but thought cincy got away with a ton in the first half in the second half it was more the Rams but not that much until the final scoring drive down by the goal line. And those were 50/50 calls.

And what the heck is a who dey? Dumbest saying since who dat.

Not true. Was runners helmet, not ball
He was running, when he got to the red letter he got stood up and then taken as he was tackled so unless he has a 3 foot long neck his helmet wasn't a yard in front of the ball. They marked him a full yard short. It's a mute point anyway because who is to say they would have gotten a first down anyway because they didn't have time to call a run play and couldn't use the last timeout to stop the clock. I mean I couldn't care less who won but I just thought it was a bad spot based on the camera angle.

They definitely sacked up this postseason. The run D in the Super Bowl....that line...it was unbelievable. Akers was going NOWHERE.

I mean the first holding was soft but the defender had both his hands on the guys hips so it looked like holding. Cant blame the refs for seeing it that way.
Bengals got away with a huge facemask TD, so chill on the fix talk.
Don’t know about fix but the NFL hates very small market teams.

But again Ramsey held at the goal line in the 1st (a blatant hold on a Bengal WR t -shirt and nothing), Cincy had to settle for a Fg. Thats the difference in the game right there.
And the rams counter your point with the no call face mask TD then the Bengals counter with etc. so it goes back n forth. Nothing personal to you but bottom line there's not a damn thing any of us can do about it but bitch

The big call for me was the roughing in the end zone, when the Rams was called for holding. It would have put the Rams outside of the 10. I guess you can’t hit a receiver anymore.
That’s the one that got me. It wasn’t even a bad hit...was he supposed to just let him catch the game winning TD without trying to break
It up?

Cold take

The winner of these NFL Super Bowl games are often predetermined.

We're being played into thinking it's "random."
What is amazing is that no official has ever blown the whistle, by writing a book or being on 60 Minutes. The charade of thinking the games are legit is almost as bizarre as people thinking wrestling is “real.” People are so easily duped.
