SEC offices phone number (205)-458-3000. I for one will be calling and voicing my opinion on a piss poor performance of official Doug Sirmons. It's not just the first technical on Cal. It's the technical on the USC player for slapping the ball (which happens numerous times a game & is never called). It's the fact he didn't T up Briscoe for the ball spike but instead for pushing Murray (Go back and watch it he didn't call a T until the shove, well after the ball spike).

The guy has numerous phantom calls throughout the game , which was physical yet he insist on phantom touch fouls. He's been complained about by coaches for a long time. He's thinned skinned, is way too quick to call technicals, and inconsistent in his job. His over all performance today was awful. I think his actions today warrants a suspension & a reprimand. The league office should get flooded with calls until they get this loose cannon under control!!!

We've used the power of our fan base to make change in the past. Let's do the same for this team. They shouldn't have to fight a team and rogue officials at the same time.

Referees are like brothers, you take away the livelihood of one of their own and the remainder will really make it tough on us. Best to leave a sleeping dog alone.

that's not necessarily true. John Hampton is not allowed to ref anymore AR-FL games. Hampton is friends with the Florida coaching staff. He got busted for screwing the hogs and i don't even like the hogs.

It can't be any worse than the job we've gotten on the road!!!!! Do you want to let officials like this continue to officiate like a loose cannon? You're worried about something that is already being done lol

Wth would that be sarcasm?! I'm dead serious, this team has been the victim of done really poor officiating this year. But the screw job Sirmons did today tops them all as far as a single official completely screwing a game up. His lack of professionalism and inability to actually do his job in a satisfactory manner is reason for suspension. When Twitter is blowing up with criticism of him from people with no rooting interest you know he sucked ass today.

Confirmation on the Horse's Ass suspicion...

Im all in. All these folks suggesting to let sleeping dogs lie are WRONG WRONG WRONG. It cant be any worse than what this guy is doing already to us. In fact I think it will have the opposite effect. I think most officials will dial it back a bit and do their job. They will be a bit self conscious to make some wild ass calls like today.

He really is not a full time sec official, he works mainly in the big 12 as he and a few others let the sec a few years ago for some reason

Up until today we had no exceptional history with Dougy. Today was bad.

Actually today he whistled up his 15th, 16th and 17th Technical foul calls today against a UK player /coach since he started officiating in '97.
Seems like an excessive amount per games officiated to me.

Four so far this year.

Doug Sirmons - UK games

Does anyone know the link to the site that has the ncaa basketball officials records vs the games called? I am struggling to find it. Go Cats!!

And there you have it. After today and the Kansas game he obviously enjoys d1cking over UK. Let's repay the favor by getting him suspended. Hurting the mans pocket book may make him think again before pulling this crap

Never mind, CatPhight has it in his post. Thanks CatPhight. Go Cats!!

If you are just complaining, fine, whine away. You'll just waste your money on the call. They'll ignore the calls or listen and laugh at you. Rednecks from Kentucky, bitching about the refs after a huge win. LOLOLOLOL go the officials. This is pretty much a stupid course of action.

However, If you actually want to make a difference. Extract a video clip of the bogus call, include video clips of where the call was made differently in a similar situation and include the rule which should be applied in that situation. Send them a few thousand of those. THAT will have an impact if done over time in sufficient volume.

To be honest, I saw some stuff today that was unprofessional. In some cases, I wondered if it was retaliatory.

All due respect, I think you may be missing the big picture there. Throwing Calipari out of the game really pissed our players off. We won the game 89-62. By far, our best game this year on the road. I don't see what you are worried about. The officiating wasn't very good, but that's business as usual in the SEC. You aren't going to fix it by calling them on the phone and telling them you are an angry Kentucky fan. LMAO!

Things can get worse believe it on not bubba.

Those were not all called by Sirmons. But you are correct, he sucks!

Sirmons has strong history with some schools. Our history is far worse with Valentine, Hess, Shows, Luckie and so on. I think Dougy got on short list today.

All but 2 were his, but he was on the floor with them nonetheless. One of the others was Pat Adams, who's his equal.

All due respect I missed nothing here. Huge win. You're not going to fix the problem by sitting on your but doing nothing, that makes you part of the problem. You'd rather knock someone with the idea to try and make a change than to actually do anything yourself!! That makes you part of the problem in a sense. Don't tell me this fan bases' voice can't make a difference. It made a difference before when espn wasn't going to televise the Bahamas games, we spoke they caved!! I know that's not holding a conference responsible for the actions of their officials. But to sit there and degrade the fan base by saying we are just pissed off kentucky fans is ridiculous!

It's troubling that your say you don't see what I'm worried about. We've been on the wrong end of more than enough questionable calls on the road this year. But put that aside....our team literally played against 5 plus one official that was terrible! National media agreed with as much. Judging by your response you're completely fine with the fact Cal was handcuffed by an official from defending his player. You're also fine with Sirmons being completely out of control with the quick & tick tack technical fouls he made the majority of phantom fouls in a physical game. He was also involved in the debacle at Kansas ( you think we got a fair shake there by Sirmons)? There are times when an official is so bad that it actually hurts the other team in a serious way.

But by all means be an internet tough guy, knock an idea to make our voices heard, and ignore the fact your team isn't getting a fair shake from a guy that is obviously out of control. After all sitting there being afraid the officials will make it worse on us is a far better idea than putting pressure on the conference to keep this guy away from our games. You worked really hard on that idea

Seriously, " I don't see what you are worried about." Did you even watch the game?

I guess you sitting on your thumb is a better course of action. I'm not wasting a penny on a call there. You're insane to think that it's ok for an official to take away a coaches ability to defend his player. Murray got ran over Cal defended him got teed up by a guy with a track record of quick technicals. Sirmons had been notorious for this crap since 1997 and the whole time people like you have looked the other way! He's obviously out of control he called 4 today. Here's an idea....Don't like my suggestion keep scrolling and keep you opinion to yourself. There's enough internet tough guys hiding behind their keyboards on here.

I'm sorry you can't read.

Did I suggest sitting on your thumb? NO!! Did I say taking anything away from a coach was ok? NO!!!

I told folks how to make a difference. You told them how to waste their time.

If you could read, you'd see that! But you didn't.
