It doesn’t matter how much the Scang gang improves the last 4 games. His offense isn’t going to cut it against the evolving devastating offenses like Tennessee. You better believe there are going to be at least 8 to 10 more teams next year try to piggy back off Heupel’s offense and I’ll bet several succeed. We seem archaic compared to that. You either have to have a talent advantage or a schematic advantage to take the next step, we currently are closer on talent than we are on scheme and that’s a huge issue at a program like Kentucky. Hindsight is 20/20, but I wonder if Stoops wishes he had kept Coen’s offense, named Scott Woodward the OC and then hired a quarterback coach. That would’ve been a risk too, but it would’ve kept continuity and the importance of that can’t be understated.
