Karl Hess fired by ACC

hess is an example of the zebra problem that exists in basketball--at all levels. biased, big eared, self loving, egotistical, and CHEATERS!!!!

hess and ayers are ratface and cryroy protectors. those 2 aid and abet both acc cheating coaches at every turn.

hess should NOT be fired for what he said--but for being a zebra thief all these years.

It's not really racist, but.... He called someone an ethnicity based on physical characteristics, and it was not only the wrong ethnicity but had nothing to do with the conversation. I mean, why comment on the color of his skin when in has no bearing on the conversation? Definitely seems this cat has something in his mind that triggered that adjective.

Oh, and the guy is also a major Booster and formally on the board at Wake Forest. I'm sure if he told "the hammer" to sit his "pasty white ass" down the results would have been similar.

I seriously doubt more than 10% of the posters here could differentiate between the numerous oriental races either.
So, Hess got the guy's nationality wrong. Big deal.
Was he a bad ref? Without a doubt. So, why not fire him on that basis alone? Why hang him on a comment that was not even racist? I guess it shouldn't surprise me. We're living in a world of hyper-sensitivity and politically correctness run amok.

Why even address his ethnicity if you weren't subconsciously, at best, assigning a derogatory trait to him having a good tan

Okay, it is ASIAN nad not oriental. BTW, let's not excuse a comment that was meant to be racist. I doubt if Hess would have said something to me about my Welsh butt.
