I started listening to Radiohead and Nirvana again since the Wisconsin loss to keep in line with the depression.

I might have to switch Radiohead's Hail to the Thief if Murray goes elsewhere so as to take the level of depression to a new low.
Yeah SOS my personal choice to dance with the depression is the Wall..
Havent listed in yrs but damn it sooths what ails ya.

I think people give the crystal ball too much criticism. Kids do change their minds, for instance jaylen brown talking about midnight madness at kansas. He was with four other stars and it was mentioned they all wanted to commit and the same when they came to Rupp for big blue madness. I like having some type of idea where kids are going or at least who they consider. Sure it doesn't work everytime but it works a lot. It sure as hell is better than nothing but it's also not set in stone, that's where it's ones wrong with people who assume that. It is a liquid method and is changed easily.

Murray is more of a combo guard, and while 6-5, 180 is hardly ideal size defensively for SF, it's not going to be a liability 100% of the time either.

The good thing is, if we are getting crushed by a bigger 3, we can go bigger with Poythress at the 3

Very true.

But those big SFs are few and far between in college, though.

And even the bigger 3's want to play on the perimeter.

SIAP, but ... does Meyer postulate as to whether Murray reclassifies to 2015 or whether we only get him in 2016?

I really want Murray but Jerry Meyers doesn't know his

Do we really need another guard? I can't see him helping us all that much really.

Really??? Have you seen this kid play? He isn't just "another guard", I can tell you that!!! The kid is phenomenal and will help us tremendously. And yes, without a true 3 on our roster and none coming, we could use another guard on our roster.

Murray is ours to lose, I expect him to be a Kentucky Wildcat very soon. Hype can be a great and not so great thing, he needs to prove himself on a consistent basis on a bigger stage. We have that to offer, as well as the best coach in the game getting kids prepared to play in the NBA, plus a ton of other positives. And anyone who thinks that this kid wouldn't be a TREMENDOUS help to next years team, needs to re-evaluate the way they think about basketball. He has star written all over him.

while watchin Murray play in the All-Star games this year he was more of SG than a PG and with Coach Cal system we can play 3 guards. Last year Ullis was hiitting over 40% from 3 point and was hitting from outside nice last year. We thought Booker was the shooter last year and in the end he probably was but Ullis was just as good from hitting from 3. Briscoe has been hitting nearly 35-40% from 3 so all three of these guards can shoot from the outside and all 3 guards can take it to the basket and make things happen. It would be an exciting 3 guards on the court to go along with SKAI & POY or Lee.

I hope you are right about Murray being a cat soon, that would make my day for sure. I second your opinion on the thinking process or lack there of from anyone who says we don't need Murray next year.

That was a big turnaround from when he had Murray going to Oregon over Kentucky big. Now Meyer has Kentucky at 58% and Oregon at 21% that was huge turnaround 58%-21% to Kentucky.

The word here in Istanbul is that Murray will sign with UK. Got it from an Oracle! (No the Oracle was not on Bank Street!)

I agree. This has been a really crappy year for us recruiting-wise, with the exception of Mychal Mulder committing, we haven't had one piece of good recruiting news since early November. We are due to hear something positive about a top recruit.

Just how spoiled have we become? This has been a really crappy recruiting year? Really?

Amazing!

Actually bud yeah it has; considering we have to replace our entire roster year after year, great recruiting classes are a must, not a luxury. So, try to inhale some reality and leave the sunshine pumping for another day.

Rank the obsession level of this message board in the post-John Wall recruitment era.

Terrence Jones
Jamal Murray
Andrew Wiggins
Shabazz Muhammed
Who else make this list?

What an idiotic post.

A bad "year"? Really? A class that includes the projected #1 draft pick and it considered no worse than #3 and it's "terrible"?

Ridiculous.

This guy does not have a clue, clearly not a real UK fan with the garbage he is saying.

I dont think so friend. We hauled in the # 1 consensus overall player/future # 1 draft pick in 2016 who has the chance to make an AD type impact... the # 1 PG who is a straight bulldog... a long, athletic wing who will make an impact his freshman season... and a veteran all american juco transfer. I like that class, and with the potential addition of Murray, it will be a stellar class. Right now it is a very, very good class.

If you believe this is a "crappy" class, I do not agree.
