It looks like he was at our practice today. Hopefully he’ll give us a nice scouting report tomorrow on his show. Plus it makes U6 fans mad too!

To me the most interesting part of the tyty Porsche deal was that it was put together by Jerry's son. Of course it was also curious because they never played in public before, so how would anyone know he'd be the star?

Eaves’ son is not the guy who put together the deal with TyTy. The owner of the dealership has been dealing with the UK players after they declare for the draft for the last 10 years. The owner has been sick in the hospital with Covid so Frank Eaves did the busy work for the deal that was put together in July.

I'm just going by their announcement. There were only one or two people tagged and pictured in it, eaves son was one of them.
I would guess if they can make money, then he can take the car if that is part of his payment. I have no idea though.
The dealership is leasing the Porsche for him and paying his insurance. TyTy will be responsible for state and federal taxes on the amount of the lease and insurance payments.

He also wasn’t necessarily negative about Wheeler, he just said he didnt like short PG’s. I think one thing is for sure getting PT at PF is gonna be stout, not sure how Cal does it.
Yeah, I like Jerry. When UK deserves praise he doesn't let his inner Cardinal interfere. Conversely he was just as critical on Cal and some of the players last season that absolutely deserved it. Does the same for UofL. He's certainly earned my respect.
Yeah, I didn’t understand that. If you can play you can play, we were actually having a conversation yesterday saying Cal needs a small water bug PG every year even if he has a 6’4 phenom on the roster.
The questions I have about Allen are his self-confidence, desire & drive, and basketball IQ. If those “intangibles” are there or develop I think he’s a top college SF and probably a pro. He has the size, length, etc.; and most importantly, I think Allen has a God given ability to shoot that very few have. Like most college players he’s practiced a ton, but practice isn’t why he’s so good at judging the basket from all distances – he has a relatively unique ability and advantage built-in. I keep hoping he can take full advantage of it by combining it with those intangibles.
He just said he didn't like his game, not that he was garbage as a player.

Yes, he wasn't putting Ulis or Wheeler down, just said he preferred big guards. Like I said above, having a small quick guard and TyTy 6'4 kid is the way I would always go.
Frederick still not practicing? Sheesh. Was hoping to see him play tonight.
You know, we've seen Frederick running around the court multiple times in the preseason now, and he's never looked constrained in any way. I guess it's just being precautionary or maybe strength and conditioning issues not yet up to par.
