He didn't even sound encouraged at the thought of his kid going to UK. I think there is more to it than just wanting to enjoy the process. It seems that almost anytime we hear a recruit's parent (yes, i know the kid isn't a recruit) say "we just want to enjoy the process", they inevitably go somewhere else.

It's unbelievable to me that someone will just randomly say something so vicious when they know nothing about the topic . That Calismyhero guy really surprised me . I'd never seen that side of him before . He may be the first person I'll put on ignore .
All too common in today’s world. Usually I just remain silent when people spout off about things they don’t know but I don’t like to see Jeff’s character called out. The funny thing is, if you know Jeff like I do then you know he doesn’t listen to the noise and has gotten quite adept at tuning it out. I hope Reed is able to learn that from his dad.
Cal says it.....we ain’t for everybody. I just see this as personality conflict between 2 alpha males. Cal seems to steer clear of players who have that type of dad. Maybe used car salesman a bit rough but I went to some of these “All Star” games he put together and you couldn’t so much as look at a player and it not cost you $49.95. I thought it was a bit exploitative to be charging fans such high fees to meet a player, buy a poster, buy a signed poster, a ball, etc, it just kinda came across as a used car salesman ploy. Think what you want, say what you will but Pitino players view Kentucky and treat Kentucky just a little differently than Cal’s or even Tubby’s former players. I would think that has been rather obvious over the last 11 years. Kid looks like a great player, I just don’t think he comes to Kentucky for reasons I’ve already stated. Which is fine, we get basically who we want anyways.
You not knowing what you were getting yourself into and having a bad experience doesn't reflect negatively on the person in charge of that event.

Don’t like the loyalty to Pitino over UK.
Hard for me to relate though as these guys played for Pitino and have more fond personal memories than the average fan. They know Pitino on a personal level.
