Nothing in this post or link makes me feel anymore confident. Why are people acting like it is a done deal now? I mean I think he will still be a UK, but what new info is causing all the ridiculous Kermit and other gifs?

Usually when all the experts get on board (whether for a specific team or the national guys), there's a reason. The recruitment was completely quiet for a long time and then suddenly all of the national guys started giving us crystal ball picks. Now it comes out that he's ready to announce.

That all points to the assumption many had that his camp was finally letting it out once they were ready to end the process.

It's basically what happened with Juzang. A little chatter, then the Kentucky visit and reclassification, then all the Kentucky guys start basically letting the cat out of the bag and you know it's done. Same formula as last year when Reid didn't take any other visits or when Duke was suddenly trending for Cassius Stanley.

Once the levee breaks, it's a pretty safe bet.

Thanks for calling me an expert man. Appreciate it

If it keeps on raining....

Question: I see all of the Crystla Ball picks changing.. but does anyone have any information on why Kentucky has gotten all the buzz? I know a lot of his recruitment was tight-lipped. Curious as to what exactly changed, what the experts are saying.
JM has been a UK lean since early February. It was a quiet recruitment not to anger ppl around him (in the state of Washington) friends, classmates, coaches, etc. He followed the Knox plan and good for us too bc Washington can be a brutal place to have ppl always in your ear trying to flip you once UK is a leader, see Terrence Jones. Wish I could share more, but dont want to rile up to many trolls. If @GonzoCat90 apologizes I'll tell a little more.

I could see him continuing to follow the Knox plan once he gets here. I think we’ll use him in much the same way, and could see him developing into quite a weapon by March.

I don't think he can surpass Wiseman, but we are looking at Cal's 8th top 5 draft pick in his time at UK if he chooses us.
A lot of people didn't think KAT would surpass Jokafor before the 2014-15 season, either. Cal will be motivated to the max to have his guy drafted before a kid that spurned him for Memphass. We shall see, hopefully. Hope we get him.

Reminds me a hell of a lot of the T Jones recruitment, actually.

I've heard some speculation on Hampton possibly going overseas and Andrew Slater has heavily hinted as that being a possibility for him.

McDaniels....haven't heard anything remotely close to that discussion for him. And I'm not talking about recruitment, the names for that possibility get tossed around and I've heard a few...he's not one mentioned. So if he did that, would be shocking move.

That would be awesome it he went overseas instead of KU or Memphass.

You must not have been on here much the last week or so. They've been at each other's necks. Great entertainment for me. Others, too, I would imagine. [laughing]
Threads with pages on pages i tend to not read anything except most recent posts. Figure anything important has been drug through the banter and still talked about at the end. Apparently im missing some juicy stuff

Well he’s your friend lol not a 3rd party unbias voice. And exactly my point when I challenged you to find out his commitment date. Of course cause you don’t have a source you couldn’t answer. Your secret texts from feb are not true. Mcdaniels had Kentucky in the mix but you and who ever you think you know are liars cause he didn’t have a decision made. Those are the facts sorry. I do remember a fine young man with legit contacts talking about mcdaniels prior to feb. He used to post here ... anyways I was asking if you knew his commitment date cause if you had any real contacts you would know he’s trying to now and you would also know he’s trying to get it on for example espn. That’s the hold up and it’s looking like a nationally televised commitment won’t be happening and we can all assume why. Otherwise same producer who did maxeys commitment will do mcdaniels. Get a clue bro lmfao

I never said he committed in Feb. You're nuts.

Who else besides me, wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he’s been “committed” to Cal/ UK for several weeks now? Announcing on the final day... Brilliant start to marketing his brand!

You would know for any top 10 recruit they would bend over backwards to get him to do it on espn, not give him the run around on scheduling. Great fake stuff coachX

All the experts got on board last year for Knox to Duke. You see how that turned out.
