Or if we look at it pragmatically, we have a possible top 10 pick and someone who may be a top 20 in a couple of years. The rest sound good but as far as on the court next year, being a top 10 recruit, top 20 recruit, and a top 4 grad transfer is not much of anything. As individuals none of those three stack up to Blackshear, as a three man group the only advantage they would have is shot-blocking, but that is negated by the points those shotblockers manage to give up while in the game.
Not counting on Blackshear coming, but there is a case to be made for him being a starter on next year's team should he desire to play college ball. He would give us the confidence factor we could use.
Either way it will be interesting to watch how things shake out. Isn't any of the speculation on this board a "full's errand"?
LOL troll much? We get it you don't think JM is coming here . There is zero chance IF he has comitted it is anywhere but UK. Now could he change his mind if he hasn't signed anything? Sure but there have been numerous people in the know comment on what he told the coaches . So that can't really be argued realistically. Now does he stick by that? We will see . I am not too worried about it as rarely does the most likely thing not happen . It does but not often. In fact the only time in recruiting I can remember it happened was when Knox went to UK instead Duke. Every one is saying JM to UK most likely JM to UK.

He becomes the x factor for us next year if we land him. We need three guys who can consistently carry the offense in the halfcourt. Right now, we have two.
Exactly. I don't get this Jakarii. All I've read about McDaniels has consistently been shown. He was going to take his time, likely be the last guy in his class to make a decision, was never going to sign an LOI, and wasn't going to have any public ceremony. Think a lot of feelings positive/negative have been based off things that really are shots in dark that any fan could come up with.
As for the account that stated he's sent in an LOI, all I can say is that could've been a way for someone to sniff out who is leaking information. I'd hope the person didn't get set up....but to go forward with info like that.....you have to be correct. It's one thing to share where you're hearing a player is going...but to say they sent in a LOI.
Same as those who think anything has changed based on a CB pick being changed from school choice to ????. Makes me think Corey Evans has been correct all along and he's never wavered in what he's stated-which is close battle between UK/UW.
If ED was confident in an overturn he would've flipped to UW, not foggy. Seems like a recruitment decision boost to me.
Very well could be, but we'll know soon enough. Only so much time before he will have to go to Summer School, begin College career wherever he decides.
They want to enroll them for classes to take while they work out with the team in Summer. Most of the UK players are reporting June 2nd....Juzang doesn't graduate until June 7th, so he'll be on campus June 16th. Want the credits to be on track so if/when they leave they are on track with NCAA Standards--need players to be moving to degree on time. If you are behind....you get hurt in APR rankings and could cost you a scholarship. So the players knock out a few classes knowing how busy they'll be when season starts..and workout with the team.
Thats a great way of thinking but not a prerequisite to commit to any school. Passing freshman 101 classes isn't the treacherous task you make it to be, a lot of players on UK campus have very well known on campus schedules.
It's why I asked when he completes HS? He could take more time if he wouldn't be on campus with the majority of the players coming. If he'd have to enroll when Juzang is...he can wait longer to decide.
So, this Washington commitment is the ultimate misdirection play? Terrance Jones II? Sweet.
