It’s just slower thinking people that don’t care about Kentucky basketball being dominant. They were also willing to keep Smith well past his prime, and defended Gillispie until the last day.

They’re just not a very bright group of people and are easily influenced by swagger and salesmanship. The head coach at UK projects the same aura as a movie star. They’re fans of people, not entities like basketball programs.
