I would not call Dilly an elite superstar by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't get me wrong, he should be starting, along with Shep, and getting the majority of minutes...but an elite superstar does not play like garbage for one half then look like Allen Iverson the next...and this precisely the scouting report on Dilly.

He will carry you in scoring and get on a heater (like last night, or end of game vs TAMU, or first half against KU)...then will turn the ball over 3 consecutive times or take awful shots (not to mention he is awful defensively, just like the majority of our players) like he did in the first half last night, which is why Cal rightfully benched him.

Don't confuse an 18 yr old who is projected as a top 5/10 pick as a current elite superstar. It couldn't be further from the truth.

This is Dilly. He drives the ball or shoots once he has it in his hands unless its out front. Once he goes, the only way he passes is a 100mph fastball no one is going to catch. When he's hot he is hot, when he has to handle at the point it will result in a turnover unless he shoots. Can't guard a fire plug but the second best scorer on the team. He giveth and he taketh away........sad

Just facing the truth that Bradshaw, Edwards, and DJ aren’t very good basketball players yet. Sucks. But they just aren’t. But DJ and Edwards will keep starting.

If we don't have a game won at the 4 minute media time-out we probably aren't going to win it. How many here felt/knew when LSU got the ball with 8 seconds to go that we were toast?

After a time-out with 20 seconds to go the shot we got was a contested 18 footer, credit to Dillingham for making a tough shot. Cal or another coach couldn't draw up a play to give us a better shot in that situation? Do we never work on situational basketball?

We are getting great/good play from Sheppard, Reeves, Thiero, Dillingham and Ugo. Edwards is giving us more the last few games than he has done all season ,we are getting nothing from Bradshaw, Wagner and Z. Those first 5 are keeping us in games but they can't overcome the damage the others are doing.

We can't play Edwards and Burks at the same time and we can't play Bradshaw with either of those two at the same time. Dillingham and Wagner together is a turnover waiting to happen.

We are what we are, some aren't ready to compete at this level.
