Is Cade Cunningham Back On The Table? OSU Given Post-Season Ban

Also important to note, however, that his brother is still on staff there (they hired him just to get Cade).

Wonder how that situation will play out.

We shall see soon enough. If CC doesn’t go to OSU I’d expect him to do the GLeague.

I dont' see him switching schools. He'll go the g-league route if he leaves. But I'm more interested to see this trickle down to other schools involved in this.

Make shitty decisions, get shitty results. Can't say I feel bad.. the Cade camp knew this was a possibility.

It's like he won a car on Price is Right and they were like.. "This is a top prize (UK), but let's see if we can do just a smidge better."

.. steak knives. That are now broken.

I’m not saying every kid should come to Kentucky, or even that it is the right/wrong decision. Trae Young did wonders for his stock elsewhere, but that’s looking more like the exception than the rule.

Wiseman, Cunningham, Edwards (stock is the same but could have rose playing on a better team on a national platform), and McDaniels all probably could have improved their stock or brand playing for Kentucky.

No doubt.

Trae Young is one of the few top level kids who I can say genuinely did better away from UK than he would have here.

Most kids go elsewhere and really struggle, or have good years but miss the NCAA Tournament.

It's not like they were gonna have a post-season anyway. That's what you get when you're that good and choose to play at a has-been program like Oklahoma State. My guess is CC couldn't care less about it anyway.

I'm sure Cal is way ahead of the curve. Would like to hear that he at least reached out again.
You can’t contact a player who has signed with another school until the player asks for and receives their release and likely also enters name in transfer portal.

Aren’t wiseman and Edwards predicted top 3-6 in the draft? Both will have a net worth of at least $30 million in like 2 months.

He’s not back on the table. But he does look just a wee bit dumber for playing us.

And they dont care about college bball anymore because people like Lebron

I think some care. The ones who will be going to college for 2-4 years. But I mean.. guys who are only using it as a pit stop/ the ones who will be fiilty rjch multi millionaires in 8 months don’t really care. I don’t blame them which is why I wish they’d just let them declare straight from high school. I am hoping this new G league will help with that.

Ben Simmons did okay going to LSU.

Most of these talented kids like Edwards, Simmons, McDaniels, Cunningham etc… are going to be lottery picks anyway. It seems like they think they are good enough to win without anyone's help at a lower tiered school. It rarely works out.

But they all have their eyes on the NBA, college basketball is not a big deal to them and since it's not a big deal, why on earth would they come to UK where they will have to actually work hard in practice?

Tom Crean and whoever the coaches at OSU and Washington are, aren't pushing these players like Cal does, nah, Edwards went to UGA and probably went with about 50% effort in practice. There was no way in hell that Tom Crean was going to make him go any harder than that. But you know what? Edwards is probably going #2 in the draft. Cade Cunningham will be a top 5 pick as well and it won't matter where he goes to college.

There are plenty of kids who went to mediocre programs, achieved little team success, but still did well in the draft.
