The Cayuts would then be but a win over U of L in Lexington from becoming bowl eligible.

Make no mistake about it, The Cats will be as healthy as they have been all yr heading into Austin and this team has proven to rise to the occasion v top 10 teams all yr.

The 20.5 pt line is a complete joke and should be taken!

If they win in Austin, there will be some who say, 'All is forgiven'. There will be some that say, 'Where was this team against Vandy, Auburn, Florida and USC?' Regardless of how the last two games turn out, imo, many fans will believe that this team was capable of much more than it achieved with better coaching in every aspect.

If Stoops wills this team to a bowl game, I think you can absolutely tip a cap to him. Would be no small feat at all. You have to beat Texas to do that and you have to follow that with a win over UofL. Not something anyone could feel sure of at the end of a good season let alone what’s in the books this year. Texas could cost us more injuries, could take away a lot of juice from the team and still come up short.

My primary thing with Stoops is that he has appeared disinterested and disengaged. So, bowling doesn’t change that, necessarily. He has to have his old passion for me to say he should come back and probably would come back. It really isn’t about the Ws and Ls here at the end, it’s the fire. If he walks, and I still think he will, he will already leave as a father of UK’s modern football. If he won both he may leave with more respect if he pulls that off, nationally if not locally.

Any team that was as unprepared to play Murray St shouldn't get a pass. Something is wrong within this staff, being unprepared and not playing hard is not the players fault. I'm usually much more forgiving but something need to be done. Our OL against Murray was just pitiful as a whole.

And if Murray can sack us 3 times and pick off 2 passes what will Texas do to the line and the poor Quarterback? If Brock gets hurt, I think we put in Gavin and save Boley for next season.

We gave up 4 sacks, IIRC, to the 124th (out of 125) worst defense in FCS, for goodness' sake. I mean, yeah, we were playing a lot of guys who haven't played before but surely our 2nd and 3rd team guys would be stalwart starters on one of the worst FCS teams in the nation. No excuse to have any sacks vs MS. I know one, in particular, was so obvious and we made no adjustments (again).

Prior to the snap, MS had 3 guys on one side with only the OT to block and a RB who may or may not make a good block. Did we audible to a running play to the other side? Did we have a hot receiver running into the vacated area left by the 3 rushers? Did we get rid of the ball after a 3-step drop to avoid a hit/sack? Of course not. We ran the play that was called and Brock got snowed under when the inside guy came straight through and the RB barely pushed his guy a bit wide but he still got home. Again, Offensive Football 101 - you have to have a Plan B on every play and the QB has to be coached to recognize what the defense is doing and get out of a lousy play to one that should have a better chance of working. We just never see that this year. I don't see that the QBs are receiving much, if any, coaching this year. Poor footwork from Day 1, inability to recognize a defense pre-snap and post-snap, taking unnecessary sacks instead of checking it down or just getting rid of the ball quickly, consistently bad reads on RPO plays, etc. are hallmarks of our ineffective QB play.

Hell no

Not a chance in h-e-double hockey sticks this happens. Cats will be down 20+ by halftime. As the omniscient Rafiki once declared, "It is time". Time for CMS to take his coaching "prowess" elsewhere.

If we beat both Texas and UL, then my vote is yes. In all honesty, only the Auburn loss was a bad one in my book. Vandy is very good, beat Bama and may just beat UT. USC is also quite good- those DE are a problem for many offenses.

We got lucky and beat Ole Miss this year….. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 to thinking Stoops is going to Texas and coming out with a W! Texas will pick the score Saturday!

No. If we beat Texas and Louisville, that just gets us in a bowl game. Just getting into a bowl game is no longer acceptable. He has been here long enough to have built a next level program.
Just a quick heat check, you do realize UK is tied for 9th in active bowl streaks in CFB at 8 years? Only Georgia, Bama and Oklahoma’s are longer in the SEC.
