Justin Edwards picked up where he left off with some of his play yesterday scoring 10 points in the first quarter. Just such a smooth player and a natural on the court.

The biggest reason I'm pretty high on this team is the quartet of Wagner, Edwards, Reeves, and Mitchell. We could throw in others as good or interesting players, but in terms of four guys who could each pour in 20+ on any given night, they definitely haven't had that too often in recent years. Those four players combined for 72 points tonight.

Have to say that Reeves was the most consistent stellar performer for the whole event but Mitchell was also consistently a positive contributor and Wagner looked outstanding at times. Was a little off tonight but still finished 6/16 from the field, while Edwards definitely flashed that potential.

Canada played pretty well for most of this game. Some of the defenses they threw at Kentucky temporarily slowed them down but Kentucky was far and away the best team in this event even missing Onyenso and Bradshaw.

For months we heard that there were "real pros" in the GloblJam who would probably humble a young Kentucky team. Safe to say now we should never confidently speculate on what these national teams in international exhibitions are going to look like. Baylor struggled with similar teams last year but they were missing several of their top players.

I'd probably have Kentucky safely as a top-15 to 20 team right now but let's not pretend like we know how they'll look when it's real college basketball the way it's played, ref'ed, etc.
