Ugly, ugly night for Kentucky. In many respects similar to the other two games they have lost.

We had seen Kentucky beat solid defensive teams away from home but we've seen them not respond to the challenge a couple of times as well. Tonight, Kentucky did not respond to the physical challenge. The Bulldogs were the more aggressive and physical team.

This was reflected in the rebounding numbers, the eye test, and the charity stripe where they had a significant advantage. Lamont Butler did everything he could to keep Kentucky competitive in the first half. Others were not shooting well or really playing particularly well but Butler was really making an impact on both ends of the court.

Georgia slowed the game down and turned it into a grind for Kentucky, played the game it wanted to play. Didn't help that Amari Williams was in foul trouble and Jaxson Robinson didn't provide much of anything.

Too much standing around watching play, not matching the Bulldogs' intensity.

I have to say, the officiating lately has been bad. Bad bad. This isnt anything new to us in college basketball.
