My two next choices would be Tommy Lloyd or Anthony Grant.
After that I’d go young coach with potential, Todd Golden or Wes Miller.

Bruce Pearl, and that should be our obvious next tier choice.

This scenario here is exactly what most real fans were afraid of and knew would happen, which is why no real fan should’ve wanted Cal gone this season. He was our best bet.

There's a reason he's not mentioned. It's the same reason Mike Woodson isn't mentioned.
What's the appeal on Sean Miller at this point? Never could get over the hump at Arizona. Hasn't done much since. Don't get the appeal of Miller.
I read on here I think that years ago he was Mitch’s favorite before Drew. Likely before getting fired at Arizona when his stock tanked.

Yeah but at least Drew has actually accomplished something at Baylor (national title!). Bobby Hurley hasn't accomplished much of anything at ASU.
he should be our coach. i would have included pearl in the initial reach outs. the dude can coach, and he's still got the work ethic for it.

I agree but he was raised and coached by the same father that raised and coached his brother Dan. He has the same values, same old school mentality. He was also coached by K one of the greatest ever. You know the fact that his bro is killing it has to light a fire under him. He wants his own glory. Just needs a place to do it. Remember Dan hadn’t done much till UConn.
Baker sure knows the Lexington market well, but not sure about his coaching acumen.
