Hot take: Kentucky has outgrown Brad White ..

I know this is bound to get atleast a few riled up. I really think that Kentucky has outgrown Brad White.
and actually feel as he may be the weakest link on the staff.

His system was good when we didn't have the athletes to put on the field. You can use a soft zone to help keep big plays in front and not get beat over the top. But it's not exactly really good at stopping anyone. It gets a little better in the Red zone because action is shrunk but in normal base a team with a decently accurate QB and some athletic receivers (see GA) will absolutely pick you apart.

We have entered the part of our program where we do at least have as good of athletes in the secondary and LBs as 3/4 of the SEC our defense and the cushions we give to the soft zone actually hinders us on D more than it helps. We would be much better on D in a different scheme im positive.
I guess we can always hope some team hires him, but CMS will seek the same sort of guy because that's what he's had success here with.
