I love Adou. But if he’s the best three-point threat on the team next year - and that’s a real possibility - that’s bad.
Cal would’ve found a way to fvck it up. Book it.
I used to love Cal. The more and more I watched and the longer he’s been here, it’s apparent that he’s not here to win for the school. He’s here to get guys drafted. It sucks.Well he did...lol. I mean even with injuries losing to the Peacocks is just embarrassing.
I was in total denial.
The truth of the matter is I am a homer and have a tough time tearing down anyone I once had faith/trust in.
The only coach I ever tore apart here was BCG because I was one of those folks who never wanted him to begin with.

Hopefully he will be the third or fourth option from 3.I love Adou. But if he’s the best three-point threat on the team next year - and that’s a real possibility - that’s bad.
Cal tends to do worse with upperclassmen teamsOnly way next year is better:
Sheppard comes back.
Thiero comes back.
Onyenso comes back.
Then we need another weapon or two on the perimeter.
I’d like to add a portal guard or two, but I would almost bet it will be Jasper Johnson and/or Karter Knox, if we add any more wings.
Sheppard gives us a fighting chance next season. Thiero and Onyenso back would help us defensively.
If we go into next season relying Fland and Quaintance to carry us, it’s going to be one rough season. They aren’t the type to carry you.
At any other program in the country, Edwards and Bradshaw would be returning. Wagner would most likely be returning.Oh, it most certainly will be. The only way we have a better season next year if some crazy anomaly happens and three or four of the freshmen return.
As we know, Calipari is not built for actually re-recruiting guys to a second year at Kentucky. It will take something shocking like the Harrison twins calling him and telling him they're returning for Calipari to even have such thoughts on his radar.
True. But the ‘24 class is considered to be pretty weak.Cal tends to do worse with upperclassmen teams
Yes. Along with the fanbase until he leaves.CCC got neutered in 2015.
I hate our basketball culture. At any other program in the country, Edwards and Bradshaw would be returning. Wagner would most likely be returning.
Dillingham and Sheppard would be the only draft picks. Maybe Ivisic because of his international experience.
But none of them will return, except maybe the one with ties to the state/university in Sheppard.
But do you believe that Calipari has really tried to build a team based on a core of the best upperclassmen? Or has it merely been largely window dressing. For example:Cal tends to do worse with upperclassmen teams
Yeah, this is the best shooting team we have had in a long time. Probably will ever have with cow. I'd let them fire it up from 3 as many as possible and just let it go where it goes. Our D isn't improving Even with all 3 7 footers back. I wouldn't mind seeing z get some play. He barely gets enough time to know what he can really do.Banging it down low with Jayden Q who will pass out to our one or no shooters on the perimeter. It’s back to the basics for Cal. He tried offense it didn’t work so now he’s doing it his way. Get ready for 30 touches in the post and lots of RUNNN.
Nailed itI can almost always tell when UK is going to lose a tight game that they should win. CCC gets more antimated, but has that bewildered look on his face when giving instructions. He knows he doesn't have the answer, so he just gets louder and more antimated to make it look like he is coaching.
Do I have to pick either or??? 🤣🤣🤣Skal is the only one I like and doesn't make me want to puke.Great post our situation in a nutshell. (but I really don't want Edwards or Bradshaw back. Question; Edwards or Boston, Bradshaw or Skal who is better?

It's also hurt that the quality of the top recruits has gone down in the last 10 years. The top recruits used to be extremely talented young men that needed just a year or two to polish their skills enough to be a lottery pick, but were still better than the other players they were playing against (upperclassmen included). Now they're more like talented kids with potential, but are very raw and need a lot of coaching and about 3/4 of the season under their belts to even start showing a sliver of their true potential, but are still not usually much better than the other players (especially upperclassmen) they're playing against. But do you believe that Calipari has really tried to build a team based on a core of the best upperclassmen? Or has it merely been largely window dressing. For example:
For myself, I do believe it has just been window dressing; and that Calipari has never tried to construct a roster built on a core of the best upperclassmen college players. I think Calipari originally intended to recruit a few of the most “talented” high school players to combine with solid returning players, and then went overboard with the idea when he started receiving so much praise and notoriety for his ability to recruit OAD players that then became top NBA draft picks. What do they say? A little bit of something may be a good idea, but too much is a bad thing.
- Bringing in a few “ok” graduate transfers because he supposedly “doesn’t want to hurt” lower level programs who have developed the best now upperclassmen transfers, or allowed them to mature, into really good college players.
- And more recently, “reaching out” to a few of the better transfers, but never really intending to bring the best transfers in because a 5-star recruit was already signed that wanted to play the same position, and the transfer is currently obviously a better college player at that position (and thus might show up the freshman draft pick).
