Didn’t Big Z have some maturity issues last season? He seems like a goofball but maybe it’s just that he is a round peg in a square hole system. I’ll take Amari over him any day.

I think he just liked getting pegged, didn't matter the shape of the object.

IMPORTANT QUESTION:

Where tf has @wcc31 been?

I know there's a superdupersecret text thread, but drop back in here once in a while, dude. It's midseason. Miss your takes.

Dude I’ve been slammed. Just got back from the Dominican. Watching the girls solo until my wife returns tomorrow night. Work is nuts.

I’ll be back soon with an epic set of randos.

No bigger story all year than Cal coming back to Rupp Saturday night, and college game day goes to Duke/UNC.
Friggin losers!!!
There’s no doubt that while ratings matter, ESPN actively promotes certain teams over others.
That said, UNC/Duke is almost always the highest-rated game each week it is played. It’s not that much of a stretch for them to go to that game.
I think we our game gets better ratings this time, though.

100% chance Jay and Seth lobbied for the move to avoid getting blasted on live TV. I personally don't give a shit. Only drawback is for the folks watching who have to listen to Ravech and Dykes (truly awful).

Well, well, well…

The time of reckoning is upon us.

Last season coaching the 1st and 2nd grade girls we played St. Gabriel and got absolutely blasted by a superior opponent. Things got out of hand. To make matters worse the opposing coach while his team was up 20 started complaining to the officials when I was on the court instructing my players where to be in position , which is allowed at the 1st and 2nd grade level.

This year my team is stacked including one girl whose mother is a fomer Miss Basketball and started at UK in the mid 2000’s and another girl whose parents both played D1 sports. We have skill, we have size, and we have some sass.

Tonight is the season finale and we’re playing that same team again that kicked our ass last year. The lil lassies are primed and ready knowing that if they win by 10 or more points Coach Richie is taking the entire team to WW Cousins for burgers, fries, fresh baked cookies, ice cream.. Full spread. The works, really.

Trust when the Pink Eagles are up big tonight I will not call off any dogs.

I would stand up and clap for Cal if I was at Rupp tomorrow. I love the guy, always will. But he made this bed and now he has to sleep in it, so I certainly won't be passing judgement on anyone who chooses to greet him differently.

Between flipping off UK fans his last time as UofL coach to not having his current St. John's team do the handshake line this season, I think we can pass on sportsmanship advice from him

I think it’s sweet of Rick that he believes he “gave” us Pope. Considering he tried to get Pelphrey and Ford hired here at different points he can STFU about that stuff.

Interesting... I am coaching my son's team and one of the boy's mom also played for UK in the mid 2000's. Frankly, I am expecting more from her son than what I am getting.
Have you played that boys mom some one on one? Maybe ask her to come over to your driveway and you neighbor could join in too. Then it would be one on two..those are some good numbers 😉.
