On a positive note.
We put up 1.48 points per possession on offense. This number was the fourth highest for a UK team in the Kenpom era (1997-2025)

On a negative note:
Florida shot 81% from 2. That is the highest % we've given up in this era.
It was also the second most we've ever given up on defense (1.40)

Those numbers are not accurate.

He doesn’t count offensive rebounds as a possession.

They had 15 more possessions than KP believes they had.

So according to kenpompom they took shots, and scored, without having possession of the ball.

They got 15 rebounds without gaining possession?😆

oh good lord. You are really gonna die on this hill aren't you lol

33 free throws by florida certainly hurt the defensive metrics. Officiating was horse shit again. We’re not a good defensive team but just like at clemson for some reason the other team was allowed to play by completely different set of rules in the paint.

I think our games are always weird because there’s too much money and attention on them. The officials either feel the pressure of having so many more viewers and piss down their legs or theyre just straight up betting on the games.

It's a weird thing with the conference as a whole.

SEC games for one reason or not just tend to call more fouls compared to other conferences.

Some of that is the refs no doubt but I feel like there's something else going on here with that as well. I dont know if teams are just generally more aggressive in this conference or what.

He counts it as the same possession still until the other team has it. Your explanation makes no sense. They had the ball until they scored.

He's the only one here that doesn't agree with this methodology.

Synergy data does this as well. They count offensive rebounds as another possession. Didn't really make a whole lot of sense to me.

This way just makes more sense logically.
