The thing is that in bounds is a play all coaches practice but not for that situation. It was a perfect pass by Carr and Duke was gassed and asleep.
I love the defense of Butler, Oweh and Williams but in big games like tonight you have to figure out a way for matchup purposes to not have those 3 with defenders sagging off while Robinson’s is in his jockstrap.
Kerr has moxy(?) even on the big stage. I fully expected that long three late in the clock to go.
Including the coaching staff we are the better team.
I’ll give Flagg his due as he is a clear NBA talent, His teammates look to him too much honestly though and it’s basically a “here you take it so we don’t mess up” feel quite a bit. Thats what happens with a #1 pick.
Meanwhile, Carr made plays, Butler made plays, Brea stripped Flagg in the clutch, Kerr made plays, Willams and Garrison made plays and Oweh man my goodness did he ever make some plays!
