Myron Pryor had some hits too - i think he truly almost killed a UGA back on an anticipated screen pass in Lexington once - hit looked life changing
Dickie Lyons devastating block against LSU RB/WR during upset at Commonwealth was epic as well

Nope. I’m a traditionalist. I make bread like they did in the Middle Ages. Just flour, yeast, salt, water, an oven, and a 12-speed KitchenAid stand mixer. No bread maker for me.
The wife moves out and you get her a gift? Pretty classy Hank.

~ As was previously alluded to, Barion Brown is a cheat code in NCAA Football 2025. If the safety bites for even a second on a PA go route it's guaranteed 6. Kicking in this game is an absolute bitch, however, which is nice because it was automatic before.
~ Lost my uncle this week to pancreatic cancer. He was 51. Loved the outdoors, excellent craftsman and an old fashioned hardened man. Spoke with him for two hours while on vacation right before he passed. Completely different person in regard to his normal emotionless exterior, praising my family and myself, telling me to cherish everything I can and telling me he was proud and loved me (for the first time ever). The type of conversation that changes the way you perceive everything.
~ Biden out, Harris in? No thanks. This election season appears to have been written by Vince Russo.
~ The Mariners are the most perplexing team in MLB to me. Excellent arms and decent defense, can't hit the ball to save their lives. They were the de facto AL west leaders forever and will cave late because they can't hold onto meager leads and win 1-0 every night. This has been their issue for the last 5 years and yet there has been no change to the GM's philosophy. Maddening.

Starting to believe CMP might have a team that is better than I thought. Who’d of thought having shooters with an actual offense and a defense that can be adjusted as needed would be possible? If he starts and plays the best players we might have a fun winter for the first time in forever.

Have watched MLB for almost 50 years... Have never seen a ball hit here at Dodger Stadium. 
* I'm not one that's going to overreact or engage in some knee jerk reaction. Baseball managers -- take em or leave em. Doesn't mean much to me. So fire David Bell or keep him around and I don't really give AF. But I won't stand for anyone who criticizes Nick Krall and the front office. They made some great moves in the offseason. Some worked, some didn't. But none of them hamstrung the organization. Even their worst signings still have trade value. I suspect Montas, Nick Martinez and maybe even Jeimer Candelario will be traded. The team also has tremendous bullpen depth, so you could put the entire 'pen on the market and not miss much.
As for the team.........last year's MVP (Terry Lee Friedl) has basically missed the season. The MVP runner up (Matt McClain) has missed the entire season. Noelvi Marte gets popped for roids. The team slugger (CES) has missed most of the season.
For the first time in a long ass time you don't need to blow anything up. Trade some duplicate pieces. Continue fighting this season, hope for a hot streak, and stay healthy for a big run in 2025. The pieces this team needs to have big success are already there, they're just on the DL.

- Guardians are contending earlier than expected, so they're finding themselves having to make moves earlier than expected. They don't have to hit a grand slam, but 2-3 doubles would be nice...a couple of innings-eating starters (Fedde, Flaherty, Severino), and a couple of outfield upgrades (Arozarena, Lane Thomas, Rooker) is all I'm asking for.
- Would definitely sting to miss out on Jasper, but again...he wasn't coming to Kentucky if Cal was still here. I think it's Bama or UNC, but Kentucky's in a better spot than they would have been under the old guard.
- Every time I watch the British Open, the gallery looks miserable. Understandably.
- Might be nice to hear directly from the President at some point.

- Didn't he try to write Hulk putting Jeff Jarrett over for a title in WCW and Hulk said nah? Hulk had never put anyone over in his LIFE til the RNC, so I can buy this theory.
- Between Trump getting shot at, Biden stepping out and Kamala stepping in, Twitter is absolutely in its meme-ing halcyon days. Just incredible work over the last week and a half, internet.
- The Nick Castellanos phenomenon needs to be studied by science. Man is uncanny.

The Visuals for this Olympics are gonna be something else.
A couple of people have asked my opinion on Beshear as a running mate knowing my KY connection but the best I could say was that he was constantly ridiculed by Richie on a Kentucky sports message board I read during COVID with the GOVERN ME, DADDY and GO ANDY GO lines. Literally all I know about him.
Adding Andy Dandy to the ticket won't flip Kentucky, and there are other candidates out there who might be enough to flip a state or move a swing state to solid blue. That's what leaves Andy out at the end of the day. Just my opinion of course.
It'll likely be Whitmer, Kelly or Cooper. I'd say Manchin is a wild card to try to sway conservatives who struggle to support Trump, but Id think they are holding a grudge with him at this point.
- At the end of the day, I don't think the VP nod moves elections that much. The only real movement we'll see is if they move on from Kamala.
- Although it makes for good clips to see Congressmen and Congresswomen "DESTROY" the head of the Secret Service, count me out for this dog and pony show. I'd rather see something a little more constructive than people like Nancy Mace asking Cheatle if she wants to use her time to resign and then cuss her out.
VP's don't mean much but it will be interesting. Will anyone who had thoughts of running for President, like Newsome, join the ticket knowing she wins they won't see a chance until 2032? So, sabotage your career to save Kamala or sabotage Kamala?
