I won’t be shocked if Reed can make a few million staying at UK, but his situation is unique to him and maybe will open Cal’s eyes to what we all feel UK is(besides a spring board to the pros).

Reed staying will not fit Cal’s ways though and therefore forces his hand and that will not go over well at all. There are 30 NBA teams. There are 351 Division 1 basketball schools. The NBA is about as well managed a league as there is and the NCAA is a laughingstock.

I'd argue the fact that the college numbers are as high as they are for such a mediocre product shows that the untapped demand there is through the roof. It would be nice to have a college basketball coach who understood the potential too.
