When their guards are getting to the rim at ease I just don’t understand not playing our only shot blocker.

We just don’t defend well enough to overcome poor shooting nights. And when we start missing, we miss everything - 3s, FTs, etc.
It’s actually incredible how lost Oscar gets on even the simplest ball screen action. He is no man’s land for ages. He’s such a liability on that end that he needs to be a monster on the boards and offensively to justify his time on the court.
We need good nights from our guards and Reeves especially to have a chance against a decent team. That might happen, but the likelihood of stringing together a few wins in a row against even mediocre teams is extremely low for this team. They are not built for tournament play.

The way to beat us is to spread us out on defense and we haven’t adjusted all year. Cal has a red line on man to man that’s not going to change. Not even gonna mention the archaic offense or missing fee throws. Just a complete waste of talent again.

If Anthony Davis didn't exist, we'd be 25 years from our last title, the longest stretch in program history, and the Cal Era would have been a complete waste.
