I missed a few minutes but Toppin, Frederick, and Ugonna shot blocking the only bright spots and even toppin has been a little loose with the ball.

guards needs to get a little more comfortable

If we can keep toppin on the floor as strictly a 4 or small ball five we are going to be as good as anyone in the country. There will be a good combo of wheeler, Wallace, reeves, frederick, thiero on the perimeter.

we get ****ed when cal starts sliding Livingston and toppin into major minutes at the 3 spot. It’s really that simple. Especially when wheeler is on the floor.

*Friday night was a blur. A bunch of us GOT. AFTER. IT. I was happy I woke up in my place and not on a random couch, again.

*Game was obviously a complete sh!t-show. It was over after Key got blasted and bounced to UT. Not that it would have mattered with the pussboi play calling.

*Speaking of the Key play, I need a new phone. We were sitting out by the firepit and I chucked my phone as hard as I could at a chair in front of me. Well, missed the chair and hit the porch! It's been a bit since I had a blow up like that.

*Solid Saturday morning/afternoon. Got invited to be Uncle Fester at the last minute for a neighborhood fall festival event. Because it was late, I couldn't find anything other than a black bald cap. Not sure that would have went over well.

*New Netflix movie, "All Quiet On The Western Front" is pretty damn good.

*Should be a solid Halloween. Party of maybe 40 people tonight with tons of food. 3 types of Chili, BBQ and Hamburger sliders, Queso, and I'm making Cannoli.

-Never felt positive about UT because what they do well is exactly what gives us fits. Didn't expect Levis to shit down his leg but I'm firmly out on Scangarello. Our offense is putrid and Levis constantly having to scream at his stupid face to get a play in is annoying af.

-My thought has been we get blasted by UT, which happened, and then get UGA at home. Still the plan but hopefully not opening the door for UT to waltz into Atlanta of CFP. We need UGA to smack those little bitches this weekend.

-Sausage Party!! 30# worth to restock the freezer.

-That basketball turd last night DID NOT help fix the misery from Saturday. Veteran led team with Summer game experience flounders around... with no offense. Sounds f*cking familiar. Before he tweaked his knee, Wheeler looked awful. Coming out and blasting a D2 school would've been nice but the FW just can't leave well enough alone.

-Theiro is going to get some run. That kid just makes plays.

-Stock down knee jerk from summer after 1 exhibition game -> Collins(bad) and Livingston(invisible).

-Stock up (Toppin, Fredrick, Wallace)

-Re: Halloween -> We're entering the hellion age for G and just getting to the cute age for the youngest.

-November 🤮 2nd worst month of the year.

According to some 247 metric, we are more talented than UT.

I really tried with Scangarello. Was all-in from the get go. Gave him a long grace period, understanding there'd be a learning curve. Thought maybe the tide was turning after the MSU game. He undid all of that Saturday. Dead to me. With a 1st round NFL QB, the best receiver room in recent school history, arguably the best running back in school history, best tight end room in school history, we are completely inept. You can blame Levis for a lot of Saturday's woes, but he's coached by "NFL QB guru" Scangarello, too. Guy is just bad at his job.

It wasn't just Saturday though. We are averaging the fewest yards per game and fewest points per game in the Stoops era, not counting the all-SEC covid year. With the most talent in the Stoops era, and maybe ever. Complete disaster of an OC.

Yesterday, inside a 15 minute window, my 2 y/o dumped the cat food into the cat water, dumped the mixture onto the pool table, covered herself and the floor in lotion, pulled my glasses and phone into the bathtub and took a shit in the bathtub. She's efficient.

We aren't beating Georgia. That honk tight end will go all Heisman on us. Just win at Mizzou and Vandy and beat the bums on Floyd St. Take our 8-4 asses to Tampa. If they can't do that, send them to Vegas since I'll be out there that weekend anyway.

Scangarello was a bad hire. Not quite a Shannon Dawson-level disaster, but 6 points scored against what's been a bad defense all year is inexcusable. We looked like we were playing on a short week and not off a bye week.

We've wasted our NFL QB's season with a terrible O-line, even worse kicking and punting teams, and poor play calling. Damn shame.

This season is going to haunt Stoops and this program for a long time. There were concerns after the Iowa game last year that the Oline was going to be an issue but do not think most thought it would be this big. Will is a mental mess in the pocket and Scang has turned him into a statue back there. Special Teams is Micky Mouse level and heads should be rolling how bad its been outside of Barion Brown.

Stoops better do a complete offensive reboot after this season and make some key hires that will both keep their best players from transferring plus land key transfers including a QB that can get the ball into the hands of these playmakers. Getting some effective recruiters back on the staff would not hurt either.

At the tip-off luncheon 2 weeks while wearing a Untuckit shirt like a juvenile slob Cal was rambling about Toppin needing to drive through a “car crash”, play through bumps and not settling for jumpers.

Then last week the most overpaid coach in college athletics was going on and on about how this team was ahead of most his prior teams at this point offensively but if you’re not tough enough, can’t come up with loose balls, blah, blah, blah you won’t play no matter how good you are offensively or how many shots you can make.

He’s already getting in their heads on offense. When the camera would focus on him last night he was in mid season form just screaming meaningless crap when Kentucky had the ball.

All say it right now, it’s Final Four or bust this season. No excuses. If he takes this team to the last weekend, great. If not, it’s time for a change.

I’m not buying any of the hype this year. Nope. Life’s about managing expectations. I’m in total wait and see mode until that asshole takes Kentucky to the Final Four again.

Go Cats.

When one actual in game quality of his shows up that defines his NFL QB label, then please list it.

I'll take the bait. He was better passing the ball last year when he only had one target and that guy could consistently get open. He also had a tremendous running game paired with two NFL Tackles and serviceable line. His intermediate game leaves something to be desired but literally every "hybrid" QB has that issue. The NFL took guys like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson and has turned them into top 10 QB's. And, while turnovers are certainly an issue, he has had several the last two years dink off a receivers hands right into the defense. One of the unluckiest dudes in that regard.

The guy is 6'3, 230 and runs a 4.7 40. The NFL will draft that every time even if he can't do any of the things I stated above. I don't think he's a top 10 pick but you can bet your ass he will get picked up by a smart team later in the 1st round because of the potential alone.

Final thought on this, if he didn't have a guy calling plays as he's making them up (that's my only excuse for why it takes 20 seconds to get the call in) this offense would function better. Scangarello is so bad that I want him left in Knoxville and Eddie Gran taking back over, and I really hated Gran's playcalling too but I think that had more to do with Stoops previous thinking on how to run our offense versus a "modern" offensive style.

On the hoops side of things, this season will not be any better than any of our last 5 seasons if Cal doesn't figure out what to run on offense. I hope Wheeler is OK, but he needs to come off the bench. Let Wallace run the point, Frederick and Reeves stretch defenses, Toppin be a spark plug and Oscar do his thing. Then you can work in guys like Ware/Thiero/Wheeler/Livingston as needed. But, really, this needs to be a 7 man rotation and I can't see Thiero not forcing his way onto the floor because of defense, ball handling and that gat damn dawg he's got in him.

I like Livingston a lot, but I really think Thiero is better (at least for this team's needs) -- which is pretty incredible. And if he's not better now, he will be soon.

He wasn't a 'big' recruit, so he'll be facing the Cal tendency to give those guys the shine, but everything that kid does says Cal won't have a choice but to play him legit minutes for too long.

On the Flip side, Cal absolutely LOVES CJ, which is a great thing. Told ya'll he'd be one of our best players, but too bad we don't have Allen! Lol

-Ware was really good last night, Collins better get it together.

-Toppin just isn't recognizable as a player. Told ya'll that, too.

-Glad to see Wallace get more aggressive late. Have had a feeling he'll be one of those we're always begging to do more offensively. Losing Wheeler is awful, whether you like him or not. But a silver lining if he's out any time could be forcing Cason to be the guy earlier than expected, and be ready for March.

-We're gonna be one of the best teams in the country. It's October, Oscar is out, new team, tinkering w/ lineups, etc.

-Really enjoyed reading and watching all the Will Martin stuff. Will be rooting hard for that guy to make it.

The arm on display at Florida.
The legs on display last year at Louisville.
The clutch throws he made to beat Iowa.
The 32 passes he completed against Georgia's defense last year.
14 for 17 against LSU.

He had a bad game. He's got a shit OC calling plays. He's got the worst O-line at Kentucky in YEARS.

He's still going first round barring catastrophic injury. Whether he's the next Josh Allen or the next Blake Bortles, that remains to be seen.

- We have been sloppy and mistake prone all year. It’s tough to see that changing.

- Our wide receivers get a ton of praise because they all made big plays early in the year but they haven’t really gotten open with any consistency since the Florida game.

- The O-line wasn’t great but Levis had some time Saturday night. He was so jittery in the pocket it led to some really bad decisions. He looks panicked back there… like he just wants rid of the ball.

- If you’re going to have a linebacker playing cloud/zone on a wide receiver, it seems pretty obvious who the safety needs to be helping. How we kicked that twice is unbelievable.

Key on the slant is open constantly, Levis still lobs it out to Robinson on an underthrow on a pivotal third down because A.) He had no time to read the defense once we were set B.) He's convinced he has 1.25 seconds to throw the ball every down because of our O-Line play early in the season. Both of those issues are on the OC/Line coach.

Unless we can figure out a way to get Brown more involved, I fear he's gonna bolt after the season.

I get that it's only one game and I understand Oscar didn't play, but I don't think its a coincidence that our offense looked much better in the Bahamas without Cal on the sidelines. I truly believe his maniac behavior is a huge detriment to his teams.
