Monday Shorts:
-The amount of jaw-dropping plays in the NBA these days on a nightly basis is really absurd, and that's pretty much just based off Rob Perez Twitter. The plays just through a few games this season would make a full old school highlight tape of an entire season.
It's hard to fathom what the game will be like in another 20 years.
-New Taylor bangs. She's aging nicely into a dirty little F-bombing sexy bitter whore. Lol at pimping Carly Rae Jepsen and saying you won't give TSwizzy the time of day in the same breath. K!
-Nice little bar hop Friday afternoon until late. Spent all afternoon in Germantown checking out some spots I hadn't been: The Pearl, Merryweather. RedBud - all dope....before ending up at Hauck's Handy Store, which closed after a 100 year run in 2019, and has now been fully remodeled into an open air space w/ huge courtyard & is flat awesome. A lot going on in that hood.
Highlands from there where I enjoyed a nice KoK pour before a Pop in Dinner at Fat Lamb. Underrated spot nobody ever talks about around here, the smash burger is Primo (they limit them to 10 per night), as is the gnocchi.
-The Bye week had me all out of sorts. I was generally unaware of everything going on in CFB and otherwise, whereas usually I have my 'day' planned out w/ other game times, gambol etc. The little break was nice, though.
-To win, we just need an old school Stoops type game....basically the same formula at Miss St, without 37 penalties to open the game. I feel like it's 50/50 whether it's a close one or an early rout, just don't forsee anything in between with this one.
-This stretch of perfect weather has been as good/long as I can ever remember. Just an incredible run of sun & mild temps...not gonna complain about the incoming rain, as we desperately need it. Feel like the last few years, at least one of them, we didn't have a Fall at all, really...quite the opposite this year.
-Enjoying 'The Watcher' through 4 episodes, quick easy little watch. Had recently listened to 'Father Wants us Dead' podcast, on which it's based. Seems like more and more shows out now are inspired by stories that blew up via podcast.
-Anyone heading to Indy for Champions Classic? I'll be there against my better judgement - final chance for that touching town, which really is *the* perfect setup for those kinds of things. Would really appreciate it if SAE would show up to help reverse the curse.
