I’ve spent the past 20 minutes in a heated argument with my 7 year old about whether rabbits are carnivorous or not. I have submitted that they are not, and am pretty confident in my position. He, however, contends he saw a giant rabbit eating a deer carcass yesterday, and that rabbits are meat thirsty beasts.

Haven’t you ever seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

- Between Monty Python, Watership Down, Bunnicula, and owning a rabbit for 10 years who was more murdery than cuddly, I gotta side with Wynn’s son here.

- I said “the reals know” to my fiancé last night and he looked at me the same way he did when I said “minus whale.” That is, like I sprouted an extra head like Zaphod Beeblebrox.

- speaking of Reels, IG won’t show me anything but weird, disgusting extreme weight loss and outlandish medical issues. The algorithm wants me to watch TLC, I guess.

UK +14

I think we have a better chance than some think. Typically, I am pretty pessimistic when it comes to the UT game. UT isn’t going to play their best game of the year against us. They already have already beaten us in their mind. That’s a dangerous thing to do against a pretty good team that has talent.

I dig the optimism, but I've accepted that Tennessee is going to blow our doors off. They're a horrible match-up for us. If we give Hooker all day to throw (which we will b/c White won't rush more than 4), he and his fast WRs will pick us apart.

And even if we keep the game manageable on defense, we'll still need to score in the high 30s to win. UT is averaging 50ppg. We haven't scored 40pts all season. I'd actually have a bit more optimism if Coen was still calling the plays, but a shit ton of bubble screens ain't going to do it against Tennessee...

I agree Tennessee is a horrible matchup, but it feels like Brad White found something in the Miss St game. Rushing four, and that fourth rusher being an LB or Valentine worked surprisingly well.

Levis and CRod ain't chopped liver either. Is T. Robinson back too? Will be the most complete our offense has been all year. F 'em.

I just caught all the highlights and player edits on Twitter.

Reeves with a clean sweep of every MVP & contest win available since he touched down in Lexington

Pretty impressive.

Great quote btw:

“We’re always competing against one another,” Reeves added. “CJ’s my boy. He’s got a strap just like I do. CJ goes out there and hits a couple in a row, then I hit a couple in a row. That comes with jelling with one another and being in the gym with each other getting up shots.”

2 weeks ago I had written this game off as us having zero chance, just don't embarrass us too badly and salvage what we can out of a wasted season. Now, my optimism is back and last year we got down a couple of scores by giving up like 80-70 yard plays the first two times they touched the ball before our guys figured things out some. We should have won at the end without some horrendous calls by the officials.

We can't give them a start like that but they have a mediocre defense and Scangarello can't call stupid sh!t but we have a better shot than people want to give us credit for. I fully expect to be enraged at game's end by a few call or non-calls by an SEC cabal going back to Roy Kramer that desperately wants Tennessee to be nationally relevant.

Pitt and UF both ran the ball 40+ times for 170-200 yards, and played within a TD of Tennessee. If we do not run it down their throat leaving that offense on the sidelines and cold, then sure it could get ugly.

We shouldn’t have a problem in the world with that, and with any success at all the Vols are then pressured to have absolutely no 3 and outs or their defense will fold in the second half.

Almost every big win we have had has basically been like ^^^ where our opponent tires out in the 2nd and we take over with run and play action.

I’m confident our boys will be better which to me is most important. We still haven’t had that game where we are at our best and clicking the whole game yet.

Man I can’t wait to see how much money LA and NY spend next year to not win a World Series.

WCC....Jamison is not in the NBA HOF, but perhaps you should study up on his NBA career before throwing shade. It would be a nice little serving of crow for ya. Actually, there isn't a better game for Oscar to model going forward if he wants to turn into a legit scoring threat in the league.

The CFA chicken scramble burrito is a solid A.

Of course you would have a strong opinion/argue on nba HOF.

$EC....It ju$t mean$ more.

This game seems more dependent on our corners, less our linebackers. Not to say they won't try to dink and dunk, but think this is where we need to step up.
Need to get off the field quick as we'll have no time for subbing.
C-Rod all day.
Keep it close and give us a chance.

Monday Shorts:

-The amount of jaw-dropping plays in the NBA these days on a nightly basis is really absurd, and that's pretty much just based off Rob Perez Twitter. The plays just through a few games this season would make a full old school highlight tape of an entire season.

It's hard to fathom what the game will be like in another 20 years.

-New Taylor bangs. She's aging nicely into a dirty little F-bombing sexy bitter whore. Lol at pimping Carly Rae Jepsen and saying you won't give TSwizzy the time of day in the same breath. K!

-Nice little bar hop Friday afternoon until late. Spent all afternoon in Germantown checking out some spots I hadn't been: The Pearl, Merryweather. RedBud - all dope....before ending up at Hauck's Handy Store, which closed after a 100 year run in 2019, and has now been fully remodeled into an open air space w/ huge courtyard & is flat awesome. A lot going on in that hood.

Highlands from there where I enjoyed a nice KoK pour before a Pop in Dinner at Fat Lamb. Underrated spot nobody ever talks about around here, the smash burger is Primo (they limit them to 10 per night), as is the gnocchi.

-The Bye week had me all out of sorts. I was generally unaware of everything going on in CFB and otherwise, whereas usually I have my 'day' planned out w/ other game times, gambol etc. The little break was nice, though.

-To win, we just need an old school Stoops type game....basically the same formula at Miss St, without 37 penalties to open the game. I feel like it's 50/50 whether it's a close one or an early rout, just don't forsee anything in between with this one.

-This stretch of perfect weather has been as good/long as I can ever remember. Just an incredible run of sun & mild temps...not gonna complain about the incoming rain, as we desperately need it. Feel like the last few years, at least one of them, we didn't have a Fall at all, really...quite the opposite this year.

-Enjoying 'The Watcher' through 4 episodes, quick easy little watch. Had recently listened to 'Father Wants us Dead' podcast, on which it's based. Seems like more and more shows out now are inspired by stories that blew up via podcast.

-Anyone heading to Indy for Champions Classic? I'll be there against my better judgement - final chance for that touching town, which really is *the* perfect setup for those kinds of things. Would really appreciate it if SAE would show up to help reverse the curse.

Welp, I guarantee we touching win because during the game I'm going to be walking around downtown touching Loveland, OH in a GD Mad Hatter costume, participating in some Amazing Race BS for charity and getting yelled at by my 10 year old's assistant volleyball coach.

I paid for and agreed to participate while drunk in Florida back in August. They told me it was Halloween. Saturday night is not Halloween.

But touch it, whatever it takes for my Cats to pull out the W. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

But are you touching kidding me?

I really hate those orange assholes.

The Watcher was pretty good. I have a few small complaints, but overall it was entertaining. Really good cast, good to see Mia Farrow working again.
