You're getting ready to walk down a dark alley. Obviously the first UK coach you'd want with you is Pope. But who would your second choice be? Cal? Billy Clyde? Tubby? Pitino? Sutton? Hall? Discuss.

Pope or Cal. Pope can talk his way out of anything. And they'd think Cal was crazy once they hear him talk and wouldn't wanna mess with that.

BCG or Sutton.

Pitino & Cal better have Mob Connections. That’s their only hope. Pope seems like a gentle giant. Joe B Hall always seemed too nice. I’m not sure if Tubby could scrap but he could give a death stare.

BCG because he might know whoever we would run into in an alley

Or

Hall, because I could outrun Coach Hall

;)

Pitino stood up to John Thompson

Cal stared down a charging Jon Chaney

Tubby had the Death Glare

Hall armwrestled Denny Crum

Sutton and BCG were like ninjas with broken whiskey bottles

Pope would convince the threats they were angry because they failed to show gratitude. They'd be doing service projects together after 10 minutes and saying "beautiful" and "in my soul."

Give me Clyde. He's probably got a bottle, likely isn't above using it to cut someone, and seems like a guy who's probably been punched in the face several times and is used to it.

I love Pope (didn’t the day we hired him), but I ain’t going anywhere with that dude when I think a fight is gonna break out. Mormons aren’t fighters. Plus, Popes offense are some of the best in hoops annually. We all know offense is for the pretty boys.

Gimmie Clyde. That MFer grew up in west Texas. He went back to coaching Juco after it all went to hell. You don’t think THAT dude could handle his business in a dark alley?

Man, I wish it would’ve worked for Clyde. I have such a weird soft spot for him.

I love Mark Pope but Rick Pitino is the vicious bastard you want with you in that situation.

(Assuming they are all in their prime anyway. Otherwise it's obviously Pope as of right now but it's less interesting.)

BCG. As many times as I heard him say tough and whipped in his press conferences, sounds like he has been in one or two. ;)
