- If you guys could see the photo-matched computer models I cook up I order to hang photos in perfect alignment and proportion using the golden ratio as a guide to establish layout, shew. (The lass’s only job is to keep the kids’ eyes away from various laser beams during the ordeal).

- I got an invite to the game tonight, but alas, I have LEGO Robotics coaching tonight. As I say to the kids when I break apart their models, “Dems da breaks, kid.”

- These hip hopping zoomers catch a lot of flack for the sneaker culture, but they’d go toe to toe *pun intended* with some of these construction dudes and their boots culture.

i can appreciate the angles of 80s stuff they’ve revived

but celebrating and sporting MULLETS again is unconscionable, kids

joey - are you a manufacturing or electronic engineer maybe ?

we always had engineers volunteering to support the leggo/robot wars / STEM outreach from Parker /Raytheon and others -
I’m an architect but now work in a construction technologist role and my co-coach is a data center (software) architect.

Our team consists of six first graders at this point. But, if they stick together, we should be helping out Space Force by the time they’re in high school - no doubt.

- Has any man in history managed to remain in a good or even neutral mood while hanging photos on the wall with his lass in the same room? I'm going no, but maybe there's a saint in GYERO.

Late on this, but yes. My wife managed to tell me her brother could “easily” do it, as a dig to me and my negative attitude toward it, at which point I got him on the phone and asked at what price could this service be done.

$100 later I sat on my ass and watched mostly, helping when necessary, as she drove him insane with the “what do you think” “is that level” “the light doesn’t hit that like I thought” “can we move that one up 2 inches” “oh know I think the 2 year old can reach that, crap what should we do”.........on and on and on.

Me though, I was very pleasant and even fixed dinner for everyone.

-for me: not worth the effort to downland an app to watch UK beat asshole state in November. Whatevs.

-started reading Pete Townshend autobiography.... well written, The WHO is the best "British invasion" band.

-**** uofL. Their lines are tiny and they play in the weakest P5 conference in history...if to margin is reasonable (-2 or better) UK wins going away.

I've got Spectrum. My wife says we have to pay $7 / month to sign up for whatever app this dipshit game is on.

Is she correct?

Has anyone caught the ball ready to shoot tonight? Of course not, because we don’t run the plays to launch, we run them to shoot 12 foot off balance learners.

Anyone else with > 10,000 catpaw posts not watching tonight? Tv Broadcast sounds like goose givens cousin is calling the game from a tin can. You are missing out.

It pains me that running our offense through brooks looks like our most viable option.

I want this Grady/Allen/Washington backcourt to work. Guessing that 25 foot miss by Allen ended this expirament.

Usually when we don't have any offensive sets this early in the season it's because of inexperience. Most of these guys have been playing high level ball for 2+ years. Teach them something!

- Too many dumb turnovers and soft D.

- Need more and better looks for Grady and Allen.

- Washington is a bucket. He’s going to be a helluva guard by March.

- Wheeler and Tschibwe are two of the more likable players we’ve had in the last 20 years.

- Number one Cal peccadillo that drives me up a wall - his total indifference to stopping or scoring off of under-the-basket OOB plays. I’m not Zone Guy but Jesus Christ, go 2-3 on those, dipshit.

@rudd1 big props for recognizing The Who as kings of the British invasion. I wanted to read Townshend's book but admittedly a little nervous at how he treats his possession charge from the early 2000s.

i liked a lot of their production and writing -
Pete was very good at bringing the bombastic/punctuated guitar riffs

but i hated his stuff he played and he didn’t seem to possess the next gear for guitar parts esp solos

loved Rogers vocals but - similar to Queen - The Who would deliver entire strata of weird and inaccessible tracks that seemed more like inside jokes than serious songs

Keith Moon was an irresponsible self indulgent madman .... but his power and range was just undeniable

Moon was their best musician (best interview too)

John had fat thick tone kinda like Roger Glover fm Deep Purple - 🤯
