  • Never got lit up by the football team in the great snow of 98. #HeadOnASwivel
  • My only run in with any football players at UK was when Anthony Wajda’s gf filmed me saying how shitty the D was and apparently his whole crew watched it. Fortunately for me they got another guy in my fraternity confused with me and pushed him around a bit, so no harm done for me.
  • If NBA media would stop being pussies and finally call Kyrie out for being the moron that he is, the better off we would all be.
  • The football team instigated the fight. You know what you never hear about? Frat guys showing up at a football party and starting a fight. You do hear of the opposite all the time.

-Who says that? Poor service…you’re probably just an asshole and they’d rather take the loss in tip, give you bad service so you just leave and reset the table. I, for one, don’t blame those servers. Happens all the time.

You’re probably right though pti. UKO is a bitch so they definitely allow female dogs in there.

>-< this close to being that guy and slapping a Service Animal vest on my dude. That shit is such a joke but hey, means your pup can hangout with you. As long as it’s not barking the whole time I don’t care.

Anyone have experience flying with a dog? I would HATE to put him in the cargo hold but he’s done it before when he flew from the Bahamas to Florida. I want to fly him to KY once a year or so and not have to spend 2-4 days driving on vacation so he can come.

Probably bringing him back for Xmas to show him cold weather and hopefully a touch of snow.

Everyone should have a pretty long leash with the service industry right now. Those poor folks, the ones that are actually still left, are short handed as all get out. Pretty sad, TBH. Folks over at French lick were short handed as f*ck. Several of the restaurants were either closed or very limited hours. Had the same guy, by himself, wait on our 14 top 2 nights in a row... at different restaurants. He was absolutely busting his ass. Refiling waters, running cocktails from an outside bar, wine, food, bread. Of course it was a bit slow but not from lack of effort. He said they're normally running 2-3 people for a table like that and have several large groups nightly. We were the only table one night, period.

Big fan of receipts with suggested tip amounts already calculated at the bottom for you. Makes those tipsy calculations a lot easier.

I feel really bad for people who go out to eat all the time and always get stuck with a bad server. It’s like the world is conspiring against them. Bad service every single time. I mean, what are the odds?

Signed,

Guy who always gets bad cards at the blackjack table
Guy who always has people pick fights with him
Guy whose girlfriends always turn out to be crazy
Etc

May have said this before, but at the freaking Hyatt bar where I work, which can range from $500-$1500/night, after 5pm it’s me, a manager and one line cook for both the restaurant and the bar. No server, no bar back, no food runner, no expo. 3 people running the entire Hyatt food and beverage dept.

People will complain and tell me how much they paid per night. I say I know man, I’m sorry but this is our staff, that’s it. They’re usually cool after that and they say dang man sorry that’s rough. We’ll be patient do your thing.

Then you have the UKOs of the world that go tell the front desk I’m being rude to them and the service is slow. Front desks rolls their eyes and hands them a ticket for two free drinks.

I then proceed to make them wait as long as possible for everything and throw 20% grat on the ticket (which I never do otherwise) as a gfy.

^ rack. Anyone bitching about service rather than appreciating those that ARE working during this mess is basically admitting what a POS they are.

Still don't understand how one could spend a rain-drenched (or any weather) week in a Casino Resort, and not step foot inside the casino a single time. 👽
Man, I went in a couple times. And several of the dudes made it back after dinner both nights. But I knew if I went in I was going to be at the craps table until 2a ($10 min tables 😍) as the crew that made it did. Had every intention of going Wed/Thurs until I got back half drunk and completely full and the draw to bed was too much. Pretty weak on my part, but Dad life picked sleepy over gambol.

I don't know if Soldier Field is a dump but to me it is the best spot of all the Chicago stadiums. I love Wrigley and being in a northside neighborhood but I like my stadiums being part of the skyline and the face of the city. Going to Chicago from the south Comiskey is right off the interstate but it's still surrounded by the eyesore that is southside Chicago. Soldier Field is almost on the Lake, the Grecian/Roman columns, it's rightvby the museums, the aquarium, McCormick Plaza, and the rest of the Chicago skyline, to me that's Chicago for a bumpkin like me.
Same thing as I've mentioned before, as a kid, as an adult now and non-Cincinattian, coming around the curve on 71-75 and seeing the Cincinnati skyline open up before you and for years seeing Riverfront Stadium and now there being GABP and PB stadium in its place, that's Cincinnati to me. I think you detract Trip Advisor points to your city when you build a pro stadium in the suburbs or where its not easily seen.

All of that may be true, buy Soldier Field has the lowest capacity of any NFL venue yet it's in the third biggest city in the country. Its days as home of the Bears are numbered.

I’m the most laidback, easy going guy you’ll meet so every altercation I’ve ever been involved in has stemmed from my wife. Usually with rival baseball coaches/umpires. She’s dead set on getting my ass beat all the time. Which I get
My dad and my uncle were both coaches on my youth baseball team. My aunt is a notorious loudmouth and she was screaming at the ump inappropriately. My dad yells and tells her to shut up.

My uncle yells at my dad "DON'T TELL MY WIFE TO SHUT UP!" To which my dad then yells "SHE'S MY SISTER AND SHE NEEDS TO SHUT UP!" and they started charging towards each other.

I've seen both of these guys get in multiple fist fights in my life. Thankfully they both calmed down before anything happened but as a kid, seeing the specter of the two toughest people I knew getting into a fight was terrifying.

So, yeah, mouthy women can start some fights.

Soldier Field was gutted inside of the Greco-Roman columns in 2002 and completely rebuilt. This is when it lost 5000 seats in a Rupp-like renovation to cater to the wealthy, their luxury box and club seat dollars.

Which is the right move btw. Or you can expand seating and the get caught up scandals and #whores a la:

Barely the Lowest capacity, and only since they reduced it with the renovation.

The real winner in dining out is the QR code on the receipt so you can mobile pay. No waiting on the waiter to pick up your card, then waiting on them to bring it back so you can add a tip.

Just scan it, put in your card info (or Apple Pay if they’ve got it) click the 20% tip, and head out.

Why would I pay 20% when they aren’t even bringing me my check? Sheesh, some of you hobos love giving money away to lazy service industry workers.

I worked in the service industry in college and I don’t believe for one second anyone would ever have the balls to look a server in the face and tell them they’re not worthy of a 20% tip. No sir. Never happened. The server chasing a customer out into the parking lot with a gun, however. That’s believable.

In other words, you have realized that your political party are lying cheating bastards and you are distancing yourself, despite not having the stones to say it. Golf clap for that, at least.

Oh...I've received two comped meals at your place in the past year due to poor service, so thanks. Next time it's on me.
Actually I specifically asked them to give you bad service because you, as a human, are terrible

The only mistake we made was comping anything for you specifically. I will make sure that is corrected and never allowed to happen again

We barely play a single meaningful game on ours or anyone else’s home court anymore either, so I’m never overly surprised about the schedule these days.

It was at noon the day after one year it seems like. Maybe it was NYE, but it was extremely weird then too on a Friday or something like that.
