-you used two "problematic" words Joey: simulate and prototypical. Construction isn't manufacturing...yet.

^not to say what you do isn't very helpful. It certainly is.

Charlie's fish sandwich is good, but vastly overrated. It's a big filet of fish, that's it. My personal favorite is Ramsey's Cajun Catfish sandwich.

I have no problem getting cancelled over supporting Dr Seuss.

Figured the video I linked above would get me cancelled first
Nacho, taacooo, chimichangaaa!

Nothing better than a good architect on a big job, nothing worse than a bad one.

I think Askew will return next year and be the most improved player by a long shot. Toppin still has the highest ceiling though.

Hey, Anth, can you quote a job that you don't know a single detail about other than wire size for me?

Going to be funny seeing how late Dr Beefeater stays out now that he'll be getting up early with Jr.

-I have 3-4 podcasts that I basically have playing in my car at anytime, none require much attention, and are great background noise. Meateater and Orvis basically get me through the week.

-It is flat gorgeous outside. Like 38 degrees but full sun. Changes everything. Sunset is really getting later.

-Switched over to tee ball mode last night. Little rusty but not far off where we ended in fall. Fired a couple in there to see how he'd handle one clipping his arm/chest and he did well. Having a catch with your son in the backyard and listening to classic rock is the America I know and am prepared to fight for. You have canceling Washington, Lincoln and Seuss.

-Believe I've mentioned it but the stuff lil dude is doing in K compared to what we did is just amazing. I know I went to K in Fairdale but still, he's full out reading books, math, etc. The CCs and us are on a text thread trying to figure that shit on a weekly basis. Nervous about what's next.

-Justa, depends on your setup and the length, but more than you'd expect I can tell you that. Also, I know almost nothing about electric but if you get a quote from someone over there I can have one of my guys make sure it's good. We do a TON of them.

-Seems as if ol Anth isn't the only one searching for a more productive use of extry time. Go for it.

-Rich, if the entire Downtown is wide open, give me a solid business lunch recommendation, somewhere we can actually talk. Also, a good bar to belly up to after that. TIA. NuLu or downtown.

Book a couple service calls in NC and have him run by my crib. TIA.

- I've been back from my most recent Colorado expedition for about two weeks now and have been interviewing to get back in my original chosen profession.

In an interview yesterday I was asked what I've been up to since October, I explained it as a sabbatical and paraphrased the great Eric Bledsoe "to get sh*t right."

- My grandfather, who was probably the 2nd most influential person in my life behind my dad passed away from Covid right before I came back. In my eyes he's a legend. He was *supposedly* the first certified Well/Core Driller in the state of KY and had a business that lasted over 40+ years.

Not bad for a guy who had a 9th grade education from Red Bird and enlisted in the Navy at 16 during the Korean War by having some stranger sign his bible and amend the birthday.

- As soon as wcc31 gets everyone vaccinated I'm down for an NKY meet and greet. I'm done with the whole quarantine, the first lockdown was on my birthday last year.

- It's been 9 years and I still haven't told my cat that he's adopted. Best cat ever, although he's been getting lazy when playing "fetch."

- Nothing really to add to the other Cats, except for get some GD guards.

- Waiting to pull the trigger on season tickets in football, I'm just going to wait until King Andy has his say.

Speaking of chasing dreams and building transformational businesses, anybody know anyone at RJ Corman?

Anth, whats the going rate for running a 240 for a hot tub? Getting it done in the next couple weeks and want to make sure its fair. New construction with crawl space so pretty easy logistics.
It's gonna depend on how far you're running it. I had to bury about 40 feet of line and it was expensive as hell, about 3k. But they did a great job and I highly doubt yours is gonna be that complicated or expensive.

I sat down to read it with Thomas and rambled along in rhythm. Then I turned the page to the “African island of Yerka” on which lived the Tufted Mazurka. In Seuss’s drawing, the bird-thing is perched on a pole being held by two caricatures of African men that are so obviously and immediately racist that it was almost breathtaking. It would be like watching an interview with Tom Hanks in which he suddenly started casually dropping racial slurs, a grotesque act accentuated by astonishment at the source. This was Dr. Seuss, the benchmark for authors of children’s books! And here are the racist caricatures he drew.

A book that was written in a different time compared to Tom Hanks dropping N bombs? Give me a f*cking break.

Emmie Squared for lunch in NuLu. Walk out onto the courtyard and grab a brew from West 6th. Both are located in NuLu Market.

Bar...Ten 20 Brewery in Butchertown. It’s literally the nicest brewery I’ve ever been in. They have a great tv setup, super nice furnishings and always seem to have a solid rotation of 80’s & 90’a tunes playing. They have a solid selection of brews and also brew their own selzters. Place is plush. I appreciate a brewery that realizes that not every venue has to be this dank, industrial setup with no tv’s.

I'm guessing this review was done by a white woman.

-i think you misread...company a has the job covered. Company b is the lowball.

-re: change orders. End users dont like to let the joey/kooks of the world *completely* design the project...they put 90% drawings out to bid thinking they've saved the last 10% of design fees...well if it isnt detailed on the drawings it isnt getting built. The second thing is running work "out of sequence"...or eating time on the front end and paying for ot to meet schedule.

^manage those things and change orders are few/far between.
False. All of it.

- This pandemic sure has provided us with a lot of "Emperor is wearing no clothes" moments. Whole lotta powerful folks being exposed for who they really are and who/what they really care about. IN SUMMARY: Most of them think all of us are stupid.

- Just saw that 80's kid dressed up as a Seuss character for school today. Well guess what, 80? You're CANCELED.

- Seems like Iowa has played on TV every other night for the past two months.

- What's the best fish sandwich in Lexington? I know Charlie's gets a lot of nostalgic love, but that monstrosity does nothing for me.

- I've been to maybe five games in the past 15 years, but I'm still glad to see that the Lexington Legends are sticking around. Nice family evening out, and much cheaper than a trip up to GABP (especially for a family where 3/4 of the gang doesn't care about the on-field product). No MLB affiliation is weird, but ultimately who cared, other than World Wide Harris and the other four Royals fans in Lexington?

- Sounds like Richard Jr. is on his way out in Minnesota. Wonder if that's already floating around so that they can make a last-ditch appeal to CHET. Sounds like he's gonna be a Zag though, along with Sallis. WE JUST CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS PLAYERS.

In their defense, a lot of people are really stupid.

I cannot believe we’re letting a bunch of frumpy Brooklyn-based BuzzFeed bloggers who used to be the nerds who wrote for the high school paper influence this much of society. This is the sort of shit that happens when we stop bullying the f*** out of these losers. A few swirlies and this all stops.

- Cancel culture needs to be cancelled lol (no really it does)

-- Clark: I've had trouble since the real estate market is nuts down there. I have considered a condo in Highland Park but they don't stay on the market for more than five days... My brother lives in Trussville and I can't frankly afford Mtn. Brook, etc... any rec's?

---KSR was tough to listen to this morning but I congratulate them on their success..

---- Cats give us hope for thirty minutes but then it starts to fade away and they lose by whatever they lose by tonight.

----- lol at this loser-ass NIT idea. End it and let whoever wants to leave, leave. FOH

Before I “S” Oats’ “D” I’m going to have to see him win some big games in the tournament.

Been a lot of flashes in the pan in this conference.

Until them, F him.

Agree. Dude has lightning in a bottle with this group he has.

They were off @Arkansas and he didn’t do much to change it up or try to confuse Arky.

As much as I hate Cal, I already hate his replacement too.

Trussville is nice, plus they just got a Buc-ees which is amazing anytime you want a BBQ sammie, cotton candy and a few gallons of petro

Most stuff in our area is selling off the market via group text right now. Seriously. I'd look into Cahaba Heights, crestline park- and I like Highland Park a lot too. Shoot me a message (is that possible on here?) or something and i'll send you some other stuff.
