There is nothing worse than a micro-manager that constantly whipsaws his department with ever-changing procedures, that do nothing but make the task of helping customers MORE convoluted.

I got written up at work once. It was at the country club where I spent my summer serving a young Steph Curry (and other rich people) cheeseburgers. We took a golf cart and drove it through some some path and got it stuck in the mud. And that was on top of several cases of beer that went missing. Fortunately, it didn’t impact my career too much, so you should be okay too.

Immanuel Quickley is terrible, and I've been on top of it all season.

Wednesday = 1-12, 9 points
Sunday = 1-5, 5 points
Tonight = 1-5, 3 points

(kidding, of course......but wtf is going on here? he hurt or something?)

Figured there would be a league adjustment eventually. It will be interesting to see what he does to counter.

I was written up because I called in sick yesterday. But I have the ability to work remotely, so I logged into the system and I was clearing up some older tasks. My boss, for some reason, took exception to that. And wrote me up. He prattled on about if you can work from home you can come in. I signed the form, waited for his talk hole to stop moving, and asked if we were finished. Oddly enough, he didn't mention my insolence on Teams, but it seems a fair guess, that it played a part.

You sure did have a wild streak, you rascal!

No @bradyjames tonight, sad. It’s been wild down here since I got back. The island is packed and insane because everyone is ready to gtfo of wherever they’re from and the terrible weather along with the fact they don’t want to quarantine or get tested to go to the Bahamas or overseas and this is as close as you can get, basically.
Figure it’ll be like this the rest of the year which is awesome. Most money I’ve made per shift since moving here almost 9 years ago. Pumped to the gills.

Plus, everyone is super cool finally and just happy to hear live music and sit at the bar because they still cant back home, also snow.

Also, just a big shoutout to all you all taking care of the service industry people so well. We were basically jobless for the majority of the year without many other options.

-I hate this for Tiger and thought the same initial thought as @PTI (pti) hoping he wasn’t pilled up. That’s a crazy life to live being in the spotlight and excelling since you were four and he’s done amazing with it, much like LeBron.

-Worked every day since last Tuesday with 5 doubles included and will be at the bar until at least Sunday this week. I need a boat day and a massage ASAP.

-@bradyjames come by and say hello at some point man. Miss my KY people and actually have a few different couples that always come look me up when they’re in town. I’ll be at MoJoes tomorrow til 6.

I had some fun times with Brady in 08 at Birmingham and Tuscaloosa for the UK vs Bama game. I honestly don’t think I’ve met anyone so passionate about UK football.

63 years ago on this date a stork delivered me and by sheer luck I get my vaccine at 4:00 today.
Probably won’t get a hit but I’m gonna take advantage of 60 degrees in February and toss a line in just a few.
How TF I’ve lived this long has to be attributed to luck at this point. My Guardian Angel hasn’t had any feathers left for years so my Preachers wife tells me. Might as well start aiming for 100 and 15 NCAA Championships.

For years when I would shave I wouldn’t even want to look in the mirror. A little over 4 years ago I risked what little I had on my childhood dream. The day we opened the store bank account had just over $4,000 in it.

Literally, the other night, snowed in, with nothing more than an iPhone and Facebook Live sold $750,000 in f’n baseball cards in about two hours.

I can tell you good/bad stories that will blow your mind. Athletes who want advice. Watching Lebron, at the store, with Ric Flair is up there. The bad is the five biggest checks written are four to the IRS and one to my ex-wife.

The interesting part is I started looking back while shaving the day I signed the lease not after making a few bucks.

I’m telling you this because somebody is reading this and has a passion for something. It may seem silly to others. But taking a little risk of embarrassment may be life changing. Go after it.

Just remember if you find your “success” to reach back and pull up as many as you can with ya. There is such a thin line between success and failure. So many just need a little encouragement to make it happen.

I take that as some of GYERO’s finest may get the chance to break bread and knock back domestos in the BradyJames suite at Commonwealth on 10/9 for the night game against LSU?

**Team takes the field to Grove St. The fridge is stock piled with Rocky Mountain Sodas. BradyJames opens up the suite windows and nods at Joe Craft next door. GYERO has officially gone Big Time, folks. ***

FOr the first time since I was like 7 years old, I am finally going to get an actual allergy test. I dont know what the hell it is in the air down here but Ive spent the last few days hardly able to open my eyes. Once the temperature broke above 60 again, all hell and dander has broken loose. I would do anything at this point just to be able to breathe through my nose again.

New mattress alert... went with a nectar memory foam which seems fine after one night.

Sending my wife and a friend of hers to a resort in the gulf for the weekend while I knock out a list of house projects. After being cooped up with each other for an entire year- it seemed like a good idea.

Fitting that games get canceled just as this team starts to resemble a mediocre basketball team. But to be fair, since they aren't winning the SECT anyway, I'm fine with any goodwill John was getting to slow down a bit. Definitely dont want him to be comfortable or think the fans are over this year or his recent bed shittings. Win a title or leave, anything in between is wasting everyone's time and patience.

We are on the list. If there is any way to make it happen. I’m all in on it. True story

- How often do you have a particular stance on something, notice who in GYERO is on the same side as you regarding that particular issue, and then re-evaluate your entire stance?

- Caught the 4th quarter of MY Portland Trail Blazers against the Nuggets last night. Still marvel at some of the pure shot-making by these guys. Melo has obviously lost several steps, but he rattled off something like 10 in a row last night, just crafty old-man-in-church-league moves that gave him just enough space to get the shot off over a taller defender. But that's how it is with so many of those guys. You think their angle is all wrong, their feet aren't set, the defender's hand is too high, and they still drain it.

- College baseball unis are so good. Not sure why it bothers me when NBA teams roll out three different looks over three different games, but I like it when college baseball teams do the same. Maybe I'm racist, IDK.

- Speaking of college baseball, I like Kentucky's baseball radio guy. Also does the WBB games, and I think he does both of them solo. Have always admired play-by-play guys who do the entire game alone. The Cavs had a radio guy named Joe Tait who did that for years. Can't imagine calling a game without ANYBODY else to bounce off of, or just to give you a breather from talking.

- The greatest lie the devil ever told was trying to convince everyone that ground turkey is a quality substitute for ground beef.

- I grew up out in the sticks and can’t remember ever seeing a coyote, can’t recall coyotes being mentioned much, never worried about our dogs, etc. Now, we have them roaming around in Newport and Bellevue. I suppose this is the result of some kind of reintroduction years back.

- The sports card renaissance blows my mind. Props to Brady on the leap, the timing and the success.

- Been mentioned countless times but how impressive is the culture Stoops has built? There are guys who can recruit and guys who can coach, but to keep players engaged during Covid, to keep players from opting out from bowl games, and to keep your transfer rate so low at Kentucky is incredible. Can’t say enough about the job he’s done. No gimmicks. No shenanigans. Just solid.

- I don’t want to hear anything about “don’t get your hopes up!” I’m not a guy who’s affected by a rise in hopes. I’ll be pissed anyway, BUT in this crazyass year, I could see Big Blue sneaking into the Dance. Cal’s sickass is probably starting to enjoy being counted out. Just keep getting better.

- Took the Friday, March 19 off and will be somewhere in the neighborhood tying one on if any NKYians would like to join me. If I need to go solo, EVEN BETTER.

- There’s not a doubt in my mind that my daughter is destined for stardom in some industry or field. Very advanced. Write her name down.

- What is your go-to sauce for pasta? I may put pesto up top.

This makes me feel like a complete moron but my entire life, I would get killed every fall and spring. Well shockingly ever since I started taking Zyrtec daily for my cat allergies, I no longer get killed with fall/spring allergies.
